Sheer Mag, to me, not only embodies the edges of rock but also its spirit of fun.
So, yeah, when Sheer Mag asked me to find a bagpipe player for its Tiny Desk, we found Tim Carey, who played the first-ever WrestleMania. RIDICULOUS. And perfect.

10 years ago today, NPR Music launched its new homepage with @TPAIN's autotune-less Tiny Desk; it changed the game for both. (I pushed the button.)

I'd never heard Sarah Hennies' mid-'90s Louisville skronk post-hardcore band before now! Major FFO: Rodan, Slint, Fugazi.
Thanks @TempResLtd for putting this together! neroky.bandcamp.com/album/lpβ¦
