what makes Rockman Dash one of my favorite games of all time is how it's full of secrets and events despite having no quest log. you really gotta go out of your way to connect with the people of Kattelox Island and piece things together on your own
I replayed this game so many times as a kid because I kept discovering new things. I think the final 'secret' I found was being able to find the grocer's pregnant wife hidden out of the way near the end of the game

90% of the criticism gen2 gets comes from people not understanding that this game wasn’t designed as an endless iteration of the series like the games starting from gen3 were. every 'weird' decision you see in GSC makes sense once you understand it’s a direct follow up to RBJ
