Currently building @YmirApp in public. I tweet about bootstrapping, programming, devops. Avid memer. Often confused with his more handsome cardboard double.
What should a junior software engineer do in 2026? Learn. You have an infinite supply of educational resources. Learn to prompt, make mistakes, ship things, break things, get hacked, and document your journey. When I had my first job interview at 17, I had shipped 20+ projects.
Just published the latest @YmirApp report. Wanted to play with Opus 5.5 generating a small video for it. Looks pretty good!
Not sure I'll do it every time, but this time I shipped a lot of things so I figured it would be cool!
We currently have two of our four sponsor slots available.
We are an independently owned podcast network built on conversations about open source and the open web: the ideas, the people close to it, and where things are headed.
We focus on signal over noise, and that approach has built genuine trust with a curious, engaged audience of developers, marketers, agencies, technologists, and others who care about open source values and the future of the web.

This. People keep asking me for my setup. It's really just any harness, multiple agents concurrently, barely any skills, and using adversarial reviews. There's no magic sauce (or source!). The models are great out of the box.
Talked about this so many times with @gridpane. Not sure what I’ll do for the next version of @YmirApp dashboard yet. But I’m more interested in doing a good cli and tools for agents to use.
I rarely use monitoring/tracing provider dashboards and UIs anymore
Only to get graphs to post on here
Everything is connected to my agent via MCP, it's so good
I'd possibly even go as far as to say all these providers could delete most of their UI and just go agent-native
here's how i shipped 2,500 PRs last month to production
this was originally supposed to be for Cursor Compile in London. i couldn't make it since i was livestreaming for Grok @Bot Galaxy so i'm making it available for free here on X! watch it on 2x speed, i talk slowly
