Big news out of Westwood...
UCLA star quarterback Nico Iamaleava has indicated to the Bruins that he plans to return to UCLA next season instead of leaving for the NFL, his agent @RudyCaamano of @AiC_Athletes tells @CBSSports.
Before sustaining a torn ACL earlier this month, he’d been emerging as a possibility to go in the first three rounds of next year’s NFL draft. However, now currently planning to return to college for another season.

Look at where UCLA is located.
Pacific Ocean. Beverly Hills. Bel Air. Brentwood. Westwood. Santa Monica. All in your backyard.
UCLA is a global brand. It’s the No. 1 public university in the country and the most applied to school in America. 127 national championships. Everyone wants to be here.
There’s no reason this can’t be a football juggernaut. It’s Los Angeles. Prove it and the fans will come.
Nobody is poaching Chesney from this. The only thing anywhere else has on us is less tax on his paycheck.
It might not be this year, but the USC game will give him a glimpse of what’s coming. He could build something in Westwood the country hasn’t seen.

The national media is obsessed with Bob Chesney and the UCLA story and I love it.
We are the biggest name in CFB right now whether you like it or not.
NEW: UCLA head coach Bob Chesney on the idea of getting “poached” in the coaching carousel:
“I’ve said it before, this is the greatest place in the world to play football and it’s the greatest place in the world to coach football.”
