Staff Sgt. Victoria Ortiz set a goal and crushed it!
She made history as the first recruiter to complete 100 enlistment contracts in a single year, rising from 83 in her first year.
For this mother of 6, it’s not about numbers, she wants them to remember that she cared.

You know what they say, it’s a small Army! Seven years ago, Staff Sgt. Samuel Yoo was Warrant Officer 1 Ingalls’ squad leader, now, she has de-hatted him as he completed his tour as a drill sergeant.
This is what real mentorship looks like!

Days before shipping to BCT, Spc. Reyes returned to his recruiting station to see his son enlist in the @USArmyReserve, securing a $30k bonus and up to $50k in Student Loan Repayment. Two careers, shared legacy. Congrats to the Reyes family and the recruiters who made it happen!

Why do you wear the campaign hat? Hear directly from the NCOs who wake up every day to forge the future of the @usarmy. Their dedication to the mission and their Soldiers is what makes our training centers the best in the world. #WarriorsStartHere

The numbers tell the story. Americans are answering the call, and Army recruiters are delivering. Congratulations to our recruiters, Soldiers and Future Soldiers on these recruiting milestones. They stand ready to strengthen the Joint Force and answer the Nation’s call, whenever, wherever.
For the first time in FIFTEEN YEARS, our Special Forces recruiters achieved their mission of 2,940 candidates.
And, for the first time in a DECADE, the U.S. Army Reserves have met their mission of 14,322 future Soldiers in September - two weeks ahead of schedule.
The Warriors want IN!
Thank you President Trump, this only happens with your leadership. The spirit is back!
And great work and congratulations @USArmy.

It’s not about how well you can shoot, but how well you can teach. Drill sergeants are the premier marksmanship coaches for the @usarmy and the best of the best will prove they can teach & coach trainees on marksmanship as part of the 2026 Drill Sergeant of the Year competition.
