we've just added 10 new unique F1 markets to @ParlayItGG that are not available anywhere else and we've seeded them with initial liquidity!
we've realized that prediction market traders need a reason to use your app - and usually just having the same markets as everyone else is not sufficient.
that's why we've decided to try our best to introduce as many new and unique markets as possible, while making sure all of them have sufficient liquidity, so initial users can trade on them.
this has been long in the making, as it required a (somewhat) fair pricing engine, as well as guardrails to prevent stale data/ getting our orders sniped.
the next goal is to grow this from 10 custom markets to 100 and soon enough to 1000+
onwards and upwards 🫡

we've been running auto-resolvable markets for the last few days for weather and crypto
covering the daily weather markets in global-hub cities like:
Beijing, London, Hong Kong,
Miami, Munich, Paris, Seoul, Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo
and daily crypto BTC UP/Down markets
those markets are also auto-created, previously we had to manually set them up, which added friction, but now that has been optimized as well
our system is working very well, and we’re now going to start introducing more crypto markets for BTC, SOL, ETH and with more timeframe options such as, 15m, 1h & etc
There will be a protection for combinations of BTC + SOL that overlap for the same timeframe i.e. 8-9PM Up/Down for both, due to the correlation between those markets
but the more exciting thing is that you will be able to make a combo with them for consecutive timeframes
The "Crypto Streak" feature which will be introduced after that, will allow this for shorter markets i.e. 15min to be combined consecutively and will have a unique UX which will make this way more fun

we just hit another milestone, recently we've surpassed 10 Million Blocks on @ParlayItGG Mainnet and we are also about to hit 11M later today
the avg block time since genesis has been ~450ms, this has allowed us to achieve very fast settlement of all the trades on ParlayIt
