Corporate welfare bill is out of control. Where is the outrage about scroungers?
£1.25bn subsidy for Rolls-Royce to develop a new engine. RR will keep assets and income streams. RR had operating profit of £3.5bn in 2024-25, will pay £9bn to shareholders over next 3 years. UK Govt won't take equity stake, £1.25bn not repayable. theguardian.com/business/nil…

The same story about Scotland and it is still told and - worse - believed. The voluntary union is an English/British lie.
Replying to @MarioNawfal
Respectfully Mario, that graphic is very misleading Ireland and Britain did not ‘unite’ in 1801. After yet another attempt at independence by Ireland in 1798, Britain sought to get rid of the Irish parliament once and for all and subsume Ireland. It bribed Irish politicians to vote their Parliament out of existence - forcing Ireland into an unwanted and undemocratic union. Irish Catholics, the vast majority, had highly limited voting rights and weren’t allowed to sit in Parliament. The parliament did not represent the people. The first time the Irish majority could vote, they voted for ‘Home Rule’ parties - reverting the enforced Union of 1801 tone-establish an Irish Parliament There has never been a voluntarily Union between Britain and Ireland. Irish identity long predates the concept, and had always had a majority wanting to remain independent Anyone who loves democracy should support the concept of restoring the whole of the island of Ireland to the Irish There were never meant to be fabricated national boundary lines on this island

It now transpires that a massive ammunitions factory & explosive storage complex is being proposed next to the Auchtertool Hyperscale Data Centre, which is proposed for the rural, picturesque, 1,000 year old Scottish village. The military-industrial complex has landed and is expanding across Scotland. Scotland does not need or want this. Labour Fife Council & SNP ScotGov are in cahoots with the developers. The SNP ScotGov gave the nod to the 'green' data centre location two years ago (Kate Forbes signed it). A review of data centres is currently under review by ScotGov. The SNP Scottish Government is consulting with big tech, property developers and councils as part of this Data Centre review. However, It is not consulting with communities, and refuses to do so despite numerous requests. Communities are not given the access to government that the money-men are getting. The dice are loaded, the game is fixed, our government & institutions are broken. The people have no voice in this grinding system of government. The SNP & Labour parties are no longer parties of the people. They are full of inept & corrupt 'professional' politicians who have lost touch with the people they are supposed to serve. An ammunitions factory, explosive storage complex, a 600MW data centre, all sitting on top of one of the biggest gas pipes in the UK... what could possibly go wrong? 🤷‍♂️
The children of Auchtertool made this video to tell us how they feel about the hyper scale data center planned for our village. Please take a few minutes to watch it. But this isn't an Auchtertool problem - it's a Scottish one. The proposed data centre would need roughly half the power currently used by every home in Scotland combined. Who is paying to build all that extra capacity? It would also swallow huge amounts of water, and take much-needed farming land out of the food chain, which we all rely on. And to be clear - this isn't about being "anti-Al". A data centre like this powers the everyday: your photo storage, your online shopping, and yes, Al too. The question isn't whether we need infrastructure. It's how we build it safely, and sustainably. And how the people of Scotland benefit from it. At this scale, the only obvious winner is the developer. It's not obvious what the tangible benefits are for the people of Scotland. If you think a project this big deserves to be properly thought through, visit our village website to find out more and object. auchtertoolvillage.com

Can somebody please explain why I'm paying income tax, National Insurance, council tax, fuel duty, VAT, sugar tax, capital gains tax, stamp duty, inheritance tax, dividend tax and road tax, all with money I've already paid tax on? You earn it, they tax it. You spend it, they tax it. You save it, they tax it. You invest it, they tax it. You die, and they even tax what's left. At what point does the government just admit they want a subscription to your entire existence?

I was there. He did not say it will fall he agreed it could. However as your British £sterling will have nothing of value to trade with and you've got over £3Trillion of debt it's not the Scottish currency that will fall by your British £Pound. At least 20% drop in value therefore your borrowing is going to increase further. At a guess your British debt will pass £4 Trillion. What currency will you use to purchase the electricity gas and oil from Scotland after Scotland no long used £sterling? Your manufacturer base is now just 8% you are out of the EU and your not in the Customs Union. So little Britain is in deep trouble. Why is the British State Pension the lowest in Europe? A failed state with mounting debts. Did you know the British said Malta could survive without London rule?

Sarabi - is 2 years & 7month old, friendly New English Bulldog who has been known for her affectionate, loving nature, she is very good with people and children. However, over the past few weeks, her owners have noticed a change in her behaviour towards other dogs, with a dislike to smaller dogs in the house, not good with cats - (although never been around cats.) When out on walks, Sarabi will need be kept securely on a lead at all times to help prevent contact with other dogs and reduce the risk of a potential incident with another dog. Although Sarabi has a friendly/loving side, her recent behavioural changes mean that she will need a home with no other pets, an experienced, responsible owner who is knowledgeable of the breed, who can provide a calm, secure environment and appropriate boundaries for her. Sarabi is registered with the vet, she is microchipped, fit and healthy with no medical problems. She is fully house trained, owner has had her from when she was 6 months old. She can be left alone, she is good when meeting new people, she has never shown any aggression towards anyone. Sarabi eats wet and dry food, she loves treats, she loves playing with toys, although they might not last very long. Sarabi has never been crated, she sleeps in her bed, but likes her home comforts, on the couch or the owners bed. Sarabi needs a home where she can thrive as the only pet, she deserves the chance of a fresh start and a happy future. She is looking for someone who can give her attention and guidance she needs, to help her live a happy life. If you have experience of this breed and could give Sarabi what she needs, contact info@help2rehome.com

After I retired from teaching, I did a few part time jobs, one was a delivery driver which took me through the gates of Balmoral on several occasions. Security is like Fort Knox, which begs the question: How did these two deviants get invited?
Someone gave permission for Epstein and Maxwell to visit Balmoral. Who was it?

Balmoral? The Queen's private castle? If this is true, this is no longer "Prince Andrew's problem" - it's the whole institution's problem. No way those visits weren't logged.😳🫪
