After a month or so of using @nixos_org at @AntithesisHQ, I have to admit I'm actually pretty into it. It's really frustrating in some ways, but it's also SO COOL in other ways. I friggin love `nix shell -p --run`

This is huge! Babashka is already incredibly useful for all manner of things from scripts to servers. Now it goes further with less.
Looking forward to the JVM being an optional dep in the nix derivation as well 🤓

I love seeing people call Elixir + Phoenix the "technology of the week" in @t3dotgg's video.
In practice, they had reached 1.0 before many of the cited alternatives were even created! More importantly, they are *still* in v1.x almost 10 years later! :D

Have played with it a bit for python and clojure projects, seems quite promising! I especially like that I can integrate it via nix flakes without any extra tooling. Here's a quick and unoptimized example for python that's also using pdm: github.com/noblepayne/celery…
