Wetech 2026 brought thousands of women into one room for conversations on AI, policy, entrepreneurship and innovation, the forces already reshaping how we work, fund companies and create opportunity across Africa.
The Main and Interview Stage, Career Studio, Tech Expo, networking experiences and PitchHer 2026 created spaces for women to access opportunities, explore career pathways and engage with the people and ideas shaping the ecosystem.
The conversations were practical and the focus was clear: what will the next decade of careers, businesses and technology look like, and how do we ensure women are building and leading it?
This is The Power Shift. Relive the moments with us.

AI is a tool, but the real value lies in the problems we use it to solve. The future belongs to those who can identify real needs and apply technology to create meaningful solutions. 💚

“Let’s just do a quick Q&A with the team,” she said. Then we switched it up and asked her questions too 👀 Watch the Wetech team get a little too honest.

This #WCW, we're celebrating Ebunoluwa Arimoro (@ArimoroE) , Co-founder of Jobapay (@jobapayos).
She's solving a problem that never makes headlines: proving deskless shifts actually happened.
Facility companies bill for workers deployed across sites they can't oversee. The only control is more supervisors, and even then, disputes leave suppliers eating the cost.
She saw the gap running cleaning operations in Ibadan herself. Jobapay turns attendance into a verifiable records instead.
We're proud to spotlight women like Ebunoluwa whose work is driving meaningful change.

I look forward to being in Abuja next week for the Build 2026 Conference!
I’ll be participating in a high-level panel session, reflecting on Nigeria’s National AI Strategy and exchanging insights on what it’ll take to operationalize effective oversight.

Having a seat at the table is one thing. Using your voice to make room for other women is another.
At Wetech, conversations like this remind us that progress means more when women speak up, challenge the status quo, and create opportunities for others to rise alongside them.
When women make it, more women should have the chance to make it too. 💚
