Likewise, all the sports analogies that rely on it being a live horserace make no sense:
People keep doing sports analogies, like "Trump wants to stop the game with 5 minutes to play."
But the ending can't change. The last 5 minutes have been played and the outcome is fixed.
Trump's trying to turn off the TV while we watch the end of last night's game on DVR.
