Reviewing the latest Cybertrucks at GFTX, looking at all the changes we've made
Some improve function, others cost, reliability, serviceability, manufacturability
The finish line isn't getting to production. A product is a living thing, constantly evolving and improving
Cybertruck is a great Police vehicle
low cost per mile
tough
can idle without polluting the neighborhood
super performance
plenty of accessory power for all those lights
can even provide power in case of a local outtage
Australia here we go!
we are the Cyberlocos. We are traveling around the world in a Tesla cyber truck and we are coming to Australia 🇦🇺 our country number 75!. We will cross the entire country, so be prepared cause this is not just going to be a challenge, but it will be very entertaining #tesla#tsla#cybertruck#australia@cyberlocos@alans_theory@australia
An email from noreply@x.ai landed in my inbox, passed SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and had the blue check
Something felt off, so I asked @bot to do a security review. It found a hidden phishing link, explained why every safety check passed, wrote a report to xAI - including proposed fix!
The fix according to bot: HTML-encode team names when they go into emails, and restrict what characters a team name can contain.
Looks like that feedback is now implemented
To users: Reminder not to click links on unexpected emails, even if the sender checks out
I also asked my bot to add a security routine that checks for anything phishy in my emails going forward.
Since then it has flagged a few more as "Likely Phishing", which were more obvious but nice to see it working
I gave Grok Bot its own button
→ Press the Action Button
→ Open Grok in voice mode
→ Give it tasks and deadlines
→ Grok delegates them to Bots
I feel like James Bond.
Today, @arthurwallen2 and I were driven by the CyberCab at the @Tesla Gigafactory Texas. Besides being driverless, Art was also impressed by the huge trunk.
Two highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic engineers gave us a marvelous tour of the factory, witnessing the innovation and technology that Tesla is utilizing in this state of the art location.
Thank you, @elonmusk
Former ford driver and I’ll never go back. This thing is faster, safer more durable tows better(unless you’re regularly towing over 100 miles a day) drives itself way better ride and handling it’s not a contest. And I saved $650 on gas just last month. No oil changes far less maintenance overall. It’s not a contest
The best part is no part.
This OTA update enables emergency drive away at Tesla Superchargers without an adapter. Adapters add resistance, slow charging, and add an extra step in the connection process.
A combustion engine is basically a heater that happens to generate forward motion
Moving to a Model Y was trading up - getting a faster, more luxurious vehicle while putting 80% of my daily driving cost back in my pocket, and it can drive itself!
Great to see more car people realizing the benefits and breaking them down simply. Share this with your skeptical friends
