Trunk or treats have ruined Halloween. Part of the fun was walking neighborhoods, seeing the house decor, and all the kids running around. Now it’s just some bullshit cars in a parking lot looking like the Temu version of Halloween. Fucking hate it.

Something has quietly changed about Halloween. When I was a kid, you just walked outside and trick-or-treated in your own neighborhood. Now parents drive their kids across town to the same few popular neighborhoods, while streets that used to be packed with kids sit completely empty. We didn’t just lose trick-or-treaters. We lost a little bit of what made neighborhoods feel like communities.

I didn’t move out until I was 25 (full time job + two degrees) and never paid anything except my car. the rules were you needed to either be in school or working full time. my mom wasn’t depending on my check to pay the mortgage lol we weren’t impoverished like that

AI Michael Jackson is not something that can be taken off tiktok. He has to prove himself in other arenas. Him making a viral tiktok does not mean he's a good artist or that he makes good music. The goodwill he built up as Micheal doesnt just automatically transfer to everything
