Where do we begin when we want to create change? Pause. Do not scroll yet. Answer that in ONE word in the comments. Now see how 44 young people answered it. THE ROOM RHNK’s new cohort of 44 Youth Advocates walked in. Their journey began with a welcome message from our Executive Director,@nellymunyasia. Then came a conversation about something that touches young people’s lives every day: Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) DAY 1: “We start with what we have lived.” The fellows brought their lived experiences into the room. They explored the laws and policies that protect SRHR. They put their knowledge to the test in an interactive quiz. Then came the problem tree analysis, looking past the challenges to their root causes and effects. YOUR TURN. Play along: Pick ONE problem: school dropouts. Root: What causes it? Drop your answer. Effect: What does it lead to? Drop that too. Let us build the tree together in the comments. DAY 2: “Now, what do we change?” The question shifted from understanding the issues to thinking about change. In group discussions, the fellows explored: Barriers to SRHR services School dropouts Gender stereotypes Patriarchy Teenage maternal mortality They also reflected on participation, accountability and non-discrimination, and why holding duty-bearers’ accountable matters. VOTE WITH AN EMOJI. Which issue needs action first in your community? Barriers to services School dropouts Gender stereotypes Patriarchy Teenage maternal mortality Reply with ONE emoji. We are counting. THE TRUTH Meaningful advocacy takes more than a willingness to speak up. It takes: Understanding the issues Knowing our rights Turning knowledge into action The onboarding continues. These 44 young advocates are building the confidence, knowledge and skills to contribute to youth leadership and SRHR policy advocacy. The goal is not just to raise young voices. It is to equip them to help shape the change they want to see. FINISH THE SENTENCE “The change I want to see for young people in my community is Complete it in the comments. We will read them all. Share this with a young person who has something to say. Tag a youth leader who inspires you. Follow RHNK to see what these 44 do next. #RHNK #YouthAdvocates #YouthLeadership #SRHR @IPPFAR @ippf @RutgersNL @coimpactcollab

The conversations that shape social change are often the ones that bring different perspectives into the same room. On 6 November, @HumNabimanya , Founder and CEO , will be part of Unlikely Allies: Stories That Shift Norms at the Federal Palace in Lagos, joining brands, storytellers, funders and youth organisations to explore how partnerships can create meaningful change in young people’s lives. Drawing from the Surround Sound Kenya Partnership, the conversation will explore the work happening around menstrual health, body confidence, nutrition and financial readiness, while considering how these lessons can inform similar efforts beyond Kenya. The opportunity lies in building partnerships that go beyond shared intentions and translate into meaningful, lasting impact for young people across Africa. Venue: Federal Palace, Lagos Time: 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Date: Friday, 6 November 2026 See you in Lagos! #ReachAhandAfrica

Girls and young women deserve equal opportunities, rights and the freedom to make decisions about their lives and futures. Their dreams should not be limited by harmful traditions, unequal expectations or decisions made without their voices. At @YfcUganda, we remain committed to building communities where girls and young women are heard, protected, empowered and given the opportunity to thrive. #16Days #EndGBV #EndChildMarriage @GirlsFirstFund @GlobalFundWomen @vowforgirls @AMPLIFY_Girls

Our revamped partner engagement model moves away from a one-size-fits-all approach to meet partners at their points of need. The model recognizes that: 📌Early-stage CDOs with community roots and innovative approaches struggle to access stability because they lack essential systems and resources. 📌More mature CDOs often work in isolation, missing opportunities for peer learning and collective impact. 📌There is a tangible need for more platforms where joint action can be taken by CDOs with shared values. 🎙Give impact a face. Give change a voice. Give girls the space to tell their stories. We’re delighted to join the 5 CDOs selected for the AMPLIFY Girls 2026 Storytelling Grant! At IPF, we believe sustainable change is built through people and our work with children and girls continues to remind us that every statistic carries a human story. This grant will help us capture those stories, elevate lived experiences and shine a light on the everyday change happening in communities. Here’s to stories that travel, voices that resonate and girls who lead the way. Thank you @AMPLIFY_Girls for the intentional support accorded. #AMPLIFYHer #CDOStories #StorytellingForChange

📍There is a particular joy in seeing the work we have poured ourself into begin to find new ways to travel. I’m delighted that I Profile Foundation has been selected as one of five recipients of the AMPLIFY Girls 2026 CDO Storytelling Grant. For me, this is bigger than storytelling. It is about making visible the everyday work happening in communities ,the girls discovering their agency, the children learning to save, the young entrepreneurs testing their ideas and the teams quietly building pathways for possibility. We have spent years building the work. Now, we get to open the window and let more people see it. Thank you, @AMPLIFY_Girls for investing in the power of community led stories. #AMPLIFYHer #CDOStories #StorytellingForChange
