this is one of the reasons I’m very much inclined towards a dual, wool and lamb, sheep breed, hence the Corriedale’s I have not only create a supply of high quality wool for sweaters and such, but also high quality lamb for our New England region no more foreign wool OR lamb
Imported lamb now accounts for nearly 75% of lamb sold in America. This not only hurts American sheep ranchers, but it also removes the need for them, creating more and more of a dependency on imported meat. Absolutely despicable that the US would do this to her own ranchers.

This is why JD Vance MUST win in 2028. No charges have even been filed against Ilhan Omar yet. Federal trials easily take 2yrs to happen. Trump has 2yrs left. A Democrat AG will drop this case the second Gavin Newsom is sworn in.
The New York Post has obtained and published an official copy of Ilhan Omar's sister's marriage certificate. It describes their father as "Nur Said Elmi," and his profession as a "military officer. More evidence that she is not who she says she is.

Yeap, all the counter messaging for the last 2 years was for this. They want MAGA to lose and the country club to retake the party.
In all of the key states, whether it’s Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, Ohio or even South Carolina, the old guard republican establishment is viewing November as their last opportunity to kneecap the Trump revolution.. This is a tug-of-war right now for the future of this party. If you want to go forward instead of backwards, then you need to get out and vote.

Did you know Arkansas has a competition where mules jump over fences from a standing position? We have to make up our own fun down here. It started in Pea Ridge back in 1985, based on an old raccoon-hunting tradition. Hunters trained their mules to jump fences instead of hunting for a gate. Now here's the amazing part. In 1989, a mule named Sonny, standing just 50½ inches tall, cleared a SIX-FOOT bar! And he did it without a running start! The Pea Ridge Mule Jump became an annual tradition, and they're still holding it today just had it on October 10th. . I can just imagine trying to convince a stubborn mule to jump six feet when he doesn't feel like jumping six inches! Has anybody ever attended the Pea Ridge Mule Jump? Have a Good Friday everyone.

way to turn off comments you abject cowards. she's holding a rifle pointed at a colleague. her finger is inside the trigger guard and literally resting on the trigger. these are literal gun safety 101 "never do's." this is cosplay. she is not qualified. she's going to kill someone.
Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley has responded to the unacceptable online abuse directed at a Met officer who received an award at yesterday's annual Police Federation Conference. PC Fiona Shaik Umar was recognised for the outstanding contribution she has made for women in policing.
Community note
The vast majority of criticism was not because she is Muslim, but because she was not following very basic gun safety rules. Her finger was on the trigger and she pointed the barrel of the gun at a fellow officer. gunsafetyrules.nra.org hunter-ed.com/muzzleloader/s… x.com/BasilTheGreat/… x.com/WilkieisBack66… x.com/LozzaFox/statu…

When I do narcotics handoff, the other medic and I talk about the calls. I can’t count how many times I’ve heard ‘ran a heart attack’ or ‘ran a stroke.’ Since the shot rollout, the ages keep getting younger. Most of my colleagues still won’t ask about vaccine history. I used to get annoyed. Now I don’t need them to. I’ve asked enough. I’ve seen enough. I know what’s driving these young strokes and heart attacks. Harry Fisher Paramedic God bless

An Illinois mom was home alone with her infant late at night when paroled burglar Shelby Hurd forced entry into her Joliet home. She hid the baby in a bedroom closet, armed herself with a handgun, and shot him in the head as he entered the room. Police found Hurd wearing gloves and carrying a screwdriver. He had a history of burglary convictions and had only been released on parole months earlier. Nice aim. The woman, who remains anonymous, cooperated with investigators and faces no charges. Police treated it as a justified self-defense shooting. This is a prime example why we don’t give up our guns.

Several people have asked so i'Il just post this to explain what I'm currently thinking re mid terms instead of answering it over and over again: I'm still at 50/50 for the house and the gop keeps the senate. EV is a mixed bag. Same as mail in voting. It all comes down to turnout on ED and how much banked in votes the parties have at the end of EV. There is no evidence that the gop is out of the race at this stage. We have had two polling companies be exposed as fake pollsters just in the last 2 days. Polling is pretty much worthless at this stage. The betting markets are skewed based on those polls, some of those polls proven fake. The EV seems to favor the dems at first but then the gop narrows the gap after a couple days as dem votes dry up. Due to redistricting by both parties the amount of seats in the house up in the air is very small unless there is a major wave election and the data is not supporting a major wave election in most places. There are some outliars like VA. This means no matter which party wins the house they likely won't have a big majority. Herding cats for another 2 years. I dont want to give anyone false hope. I'm also not going to doom. It's a very winnable race at this point and how you view the data is up to you. The gop voters just need to get out and vote in numbers and there are signs of that happening in several places. I'll keep posting the good news and let others post the doom and gloom stuff. This doesnt mean I'm changing my outlook from 50/50. I'll probably keep it at that level for the rest of the election season. Just know the fight is far from over and there is a chance of a victory and there is a chance of a defeat. The game needs to be played to the end before we find out the outcome. We might as well be happy warriors while the game is being played IMO. Nothing good comes from being Debbie downers.

If I was a young adult I would be hoping for the gop to win the mid terms to maybe get a $5k check. If the dems win i know for sure I get nothing but higher Inflation and higher taxes. At least a gop win gives me a chance at $5k. Better odds than playing the lottery.
