The Dragon commander normally “camps out” in Dragon for a few days before departure, as the new crew have taken over the @Space_Station crew quarters. It’s a sign you’re coming home soon … and it’s also the room with the best view!
Room with a view. Check out my new digs as I camp out in Dragon until our departure. With Crew-13’s arrival we have a very full house on the @Space_Station. Luke is living in my previous crew quarters, and I’ve pitched a tent in Dragon.

It is awesome to play a small part in helping teams build what’s comes next - in this case, a new lunar rover.
This month at @NASAJohnson, our latest Pegasus Lunar Terrain Vehicle prototype underwent human-in-the-loop (HITL) pressurized suit testing with NASA Astronauts @AstroAnnimal, @AstroAcaba, and @Astro_Sabot. HITL testing is critical to ensuring our rover safely and comfortably accommodates Astronauts in spacesuits.

Phenomenal people doing phenomenal things!
Halfway there. 🧑‍🚀 The 10 members of NASA’s 2025 Astronaut Candidate Class spent their summer studying geology, honing flight skills, learning emergency procedures, and training inside spacecraft mockups. The class is on track to graduate in 2027, when they will join NASA’s active astronaut corps. Read more: go.nasa.gov/4AutgEE

Another 🎱 classmate in the news! Go Jessica!
Today marks a major milestone for NASA's @Astro_Jessica: Across her two flights, she’s now logged 400 days living in space! That’s 400 days of research, spacewalks, station maintenance, and capturing photos of Earth below for all to enjoy. Happy 400 days, Jessica! ✨

Perspective is everything. 🌍 Gazing down at Earth from above offers an incredibly profound one, as does looking back at the @Space_Station from a window in the Russian segment. Our crewmate Anna Kikina captured this incredible footage during @astro_anil and my spacewalk on Aug. 6. Even suited up in our bulky spacesuits, we look like tiny little worker bees at the hive given the massive scale of the station.

My heart is with those in my hometown of Spokane, WA. Hang in there everyone … things can be replaced, but people cannot. Stay safe!
Our hearts and thoughts are with all those in the Pacific Northwest battling the recent wildfires. The scale of these fires is shocking to see from 250 miles up on the @Space_Station. Stay safe all.

This is so cool!
Still in awe that another of my childhood dreams has come true! I wanted to be an astronaut since I was five years old, but another childhood aspiration of mine was to play in a professional symphony. Who would have guessed that one dream could lead to the other? Immense gratitude to @TheBostonPops for the extraordinary opportunity to join their iconic July 4th Fireworks Spectacular and play the piccolo solo in Stars and Stripes Forever from the @Space_Station! This one is for you, Mr. McLaughlin!

Thank you @NASA for the coolest day ever. One week ago, we were eating Chili’s in Chattanooga, and today we’re talking to the ISS. This is the American dream. Thanks for letting three random World Cup tourists from Germany live it for a few days. USA rocks.🇺🇸🚀

One of the best parts of this job is sharing the wonder of exploration. It was an honor to host @FreddyLA7 and friends at @NASAJohnson, thank you for your curiosity and excitement! (Confirmed: real people, on an epic road trip!)
This is the coolest thing ever. We’re at NASA getting a tour from astronaut Anne McClain. This is us entering the Orion capsule that flew around the Moon in April.
