Build data pipelines with a prompt @artie_labs
Standing up a production CDC pipeline used to mean designing source access, replication, backfills, destination writes, schema-change handling, monitoring, and recovery. Now, it can done with a single prompt: “Create a pipeline from the staging Postgres database to Snowflake.” With Artie MCP available in Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex, an AI agent can use Artie’s tools to configure and manage that workflow. So engineers can start with what they need, instead of spending months assembling and maintaining the pipeline themselves.

Proud to share Flex has 4x'd its annualized total payment volume (TPV) since the end of 2025, adding $10B in just a quarter. Grateful for our team's ambition and velocity! We are hiring. Come join one of the most cracked teams in all of tech today.
We hit a new milestone at @FlexSuperApp: $20 billion in annualized payment volume. We ended 2025 at $5B, reached $10B just four months later, and have already doubled again to $20B. We’re incredibly grateful to our customers for continuing to trust Flex and making this growth possible. On to $50B, then $100B, then $1T.

AI-native services is the platform shift of this era. No one wants another SaaS tool that they can build with Claude in a day.
Long Lake co-founder @varunshenoy_ explains why the most valuable layer of the AI stack may not be chips or models: "You look at the whole AI value chain. You start at the compute or chip layer. There's many players there today. I don't know who's going to be the winner in 10 years, in five years. I wish I could index it." "If you move up the stack, there are the foundation models. OpenAI, Anthropic, Grok, Gemini. If you move even further up, there's infrastructure, inference, all the neo clouds." "What you start to realize is you basically want to index everything happening in AI. If you move all the way to the top of the stack, what you have is a services business that fundamentally owns the most valuable part of the entire chain, which is the relationship with the end customer." "As the chips get better, as the models get better, all those micro-optimizations allow us to provide much better service to the final customer." @llmh

Using real-time data is the best way to escape the permanent underclass
We filmed three data engineers in their natural habitat. Not shown in the doc: > Monitoring a pipeline that was 'definitely fine' five minutes ago. > Reading logs like they’re a crime scene. > Doing recovery math while someone asks if the dashboard is up to date yet. Moving data is easy. What’s difficult is keeping data correct and current, and knowing how to recover when pipelines restart, schemas change, or data falls behind. That’s why Artie now has a Free plan: so anyone can run real-time replication without building and operating the infrastructure themselves. Deploy a pipeline and watch your data replicate in real time. Try it: go.artie.com/free-plan

New @ThePeelPod with @alfromnexhealth Today @nexhealthHQ infrastructure serves 89 million patients and 81% of new AI healthcare startups are built on it. But at one point, the company had $4k in the bank, a maxed-out Amex card, and was on the brink of running out of cash. I sat down with Al to talk about why 75% of dentists still run a server in their closet, the reason innovation is so hard in healthcare, and why AI value will accrue to chips, models, and the action layer. Today, we're excited to welcome Michael Barrett as Flex's CTO. Before joining Flex, Michael spent the last 6 years leading engineering at Chime, where hundreds of engineers reported into his organization. During his time there, he helped build and scale the technology behind one of the world's largest fintechs. Chime serves over 10 million users and is an approximately $11B publicly traded company. Michael led the teams responsible for building and deploying Chime's proprietary in-house fintech infrastructure, including its payment processing, ledgering, and core banking systems, reducing infrastructure costs by roughly 60%. He also played a key role in launching and scaling Chime's card program, which now serves more than 6 million users. We're incredibly excited for what's ahead. Welcome to the team, Michael!

Radical truth-seeking is the most important value at @hanoverpark.
I’m convinced that the most underrated trait in life is the willingness to change your mind. Certainty isn't strength. The most impressive people change their minds often in response to new information. It’s a software update. The goal isn't to be right. It's to find the truth.
