While this guy clearly has skeletons in his closet and while his reply to this propaganda for ID age verification maybe a little harsh and crass. He’s trying to worn of a very real danger and evil. ID age verification is not about “protecting the kids” and definitely not about banning porn”. It’s about surveillance and unjust punishment of speech and expression. It’s evil and as I’m sure you can a great there is no such thing as a necessary evil.
Ok what this dude is not telling you about is that this age verification involves taking a picture of your ID so that the government or some shady ID company to sell to some hacker in God knows where can steal your identity and use it for God knows what all for a good price. All while you loose the ability to function in society because you now have your identity stolen. And you want to know the worst part is that this is not just for porn sites this is being voted on for operating systems so imagine having to send your ID just to login in. It’s obvious that what is being done is surveillance so that you are under the governments control with no rights. Now I’m sure none of you want to live in society like that. Now sure that this dudes intentions are pure but he doesn’t comprehend the levels of screwed we are if ID age verification gets passed. So call your reps and senators and tell them you don’t want this. And incase you’re wondering I don’t work for any tech companies.
