🚨Happy to share with you our Lab’s latest #BioRxiv pre-print. 🥳

A huge amount of work (and 🐭 breedings!).
Hope you enjoy the read!
🥳Happy to share our latest manuscript - out today in @NatureCellBio.
💜 Congrats and thanks to @Wenlong_Li1 and @Munta04, the whole lab, our collaborators and the funders that supported this important and beautiful 🤩 work!
Hope you enjoy the read!

Great work by @DannieEngle@salkinstitute building ex vivo models in a neglected disease of the pancreas - chronic pancreatitis.

One key finding - half of pancreatitis organoids have CFTR dysfunction, even ones with wild type gene, amenable to therapy.
Last week, our CEO attended @CR_UK's inaugural #PancreaticCancer Conference, bringing together researchers working to improve earlier diagnosis and outcomes.
Progress like this gives hope for the future. 💜

The inaugural #CRUK#PanConf26 may be over but I suspect it will not be the last one…😉
And this is thanks to all the people that made this happen, especially @TaraMcKay20, our 350+ attendees (>60% from outside the UK) and my wonderful co-organizers @Aiims1742 and @SaurLab!
The @CR_UK#PanConf26 was proof how much great science is happening in #PancreaticCancer in the UK & rest of Europe. Now is the time for greater international collaborations with our partners across the Atlantic. Really enjoyed my time in London!
Thanks to @BristiBasu8 for 📸

Look at that room! 🤩
Thanks to @Aiims1742 and @SaurLab for being the best co-organizers I could have wished for this inaugural meeting🔝
Very grateful for all your time and dedication despite being so busy.
Very grateful to @TaraMcKay20 and all session chairs too🤩

The Cambridge South station has arrived on time 🚆
Opened to the public last Sunday, the @networkrail station can receive over 1.8 million journeys in a year. This will be invaluable to the @CamBioCampus and the University of Cambridge. The Campus is the city's largest employment site, where over 22,000 people work 🧑🔬
This will not only make commuting easier for many workers, it will also benefit those visiting the Campus to seek treatment or find research and investment opportunities.
Have you got off at this new stop? Let us know how much time it has saved you👇
Great to see our #Review out in @Cancer_Cell. A true pleasure to work with @HHuanglab and all other authors I am a big fan of! ⭐️
Hope you enjoy this treat as much as we enjoyed it! 🤗

Presented at #ASCO26:
Among patients with previously treated metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, the RAS(ON) inhibitor daraxonrasib led to significantly longer overall survival and progression-free survival than chemotherapy. Full phase 3 RASolute 302 trial results: nej.md/4nWaxvM@ASCO
ALT Graph from a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine on daraxonrasib versus chemotherapy for metastatic pancreatic cancer. The x-axis represents months, and the y-axis shows the percentage of patients alive. Two lines indicate survival rates: daraxonrasib (blue) and chemotherapy (gray). The bottom section lists patients at risk over time. Title and journal logo are included.
