Switch/S2 home menu is simple to use and gets the job done.
It'd be nice to have themes but I don't think they're a necessity. Those gimmicks from old consoles should stay in the past as the Switch carves its own identity.
At this point my biggest want would be an OLED screen.
The Nintendo Switch 2 doesn't need better graphics or stronger hardware…
It needs MORE personality.
Bring back the Wii's channels, the 3DS themes, StreetPass and that feeling of turning on a Nintendo console just to explore the menus.

"BOTW is a modernisation of the original Zelda" is the single most braindead gaming take of all time.
No idea who first came up with it, and no idea why people keep repeating it.
Nobody who has ever played these games would ever say this.
It's infuriating to see so many Zelda fans not know what they are talking about.
The "OOT Model" of 3D Zelda isn't the "traditional model" the original LOZ is. BOTW is a modernization of the original LOZ.
The OOT Model only came about because the technology didn't exist at the time for the devs to make a true open world LOZ like the original.
If you prefer the OOT model that is fine but don't say it's the traditional model cause it sure as hell isn't.

Disc to digital is great, because having more ways to own and play your games only benefits us as fans.
Now Xbox needs to start putting their first party games fully on the disc.
Ever since XBOX introduced Disk To Digital I’ve noticed a few things…

And then remember what Sony just announced they were killing this year.
Nintendo Latin America VP Bill van Zyll says The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake is a global phenomenon and physical sales are exceeding Nintendo's expectations:
“Well, if we expected it, we wouldn’t be in that situation, right? At least not to this extent. I will tell you that it’s a global phenomenon. We have this issue absolutely everywhere. We apologize for that. That certainly is not the intent. We underestimated how well it would be received. And there’s certainly some markets that stand out.
The United States did extremely well as well. It’s a global phenomenon where they’re running out of product. The pre-sales are hitting their max, and certainly that’s what happened to us in Brazil.

Alucard, Eggman, Zero and Chun Li are easy, often overlooked choices for Smash.

A new Microsoft job listing for an Xbox Games Supply Strategist says the person will help manage the launch of physical Xbox games across all platforms.
The job includes:
-Planning physical game launches
-Managing manufacturing and distribution
-Handling inventory
-Managing sales and retail channels
-Planning physical games throughout their entire life cycle
