Today’s Goldliner 273 journey was a disgrace! Trapped on bus for 30 mins due to faulty lift. Return journey had blocked wheelchair space and my unsecured wheelchair sliding around bends. I've asked for years. Now I DEMAND low-floor buses. No more excuses! #Disabled #Disability

Thrombectomies are available 24/7 in Northern Ireland for any stroke patients who need one. If you suddenly experience any stroke symptoms, go straight to hospital.
Until recently thrombectomies, which remove blood clots and restore blood flow to the brain, were only available at certain times of the day in parts of Northern Ireland, but now they can now be carried out 24 hours a day, seven days a week. bbc.in/4rXXzzE

Chemo brain is real — and it is not always caused by chemotherapy alone. Memory problems, brain fog, difficulty concentrating, and slower thinking can appear during or after cancer treatment, and for some patients they can affect work, conversations, and everyday tasks. Our latest article explains what chemo brain feels like, why it happens, how long it can last, and what can help improve memory and concentration including when cognitive changes should be discussed with a doctor. Life limited patients can express their wishes through Advance Care Planning. However, what happens when the funding, workforce & capacity arent there to make those a reality? Patient centred care requires resources to honour choices people make. @AIIHPC @macmillancancer #PEOLC
Palliative Care is priceless. Being able to reduce the symptoms and bring comfort to terminally ill and life limited patients and their families is something everyone in NI should have equal access to.

Yes, you read that right – combined. Early diagnosis must be earlier, better and faster to give everyone affected by ovarian cancer the best chance of survival. Your donation can support people today and push for change tomorrow: giving.targetovariancancer.o… #WorldCancerResearchDay
