So many of you will have seen the news today about the amazing Faith Hinitt having to raise over £100k to fund her stem cell transplant. Faith was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and had a stem cell transplant, but she relapsed within a year. Shockingly, the NHS refused her a second. She funded her second transplant through the public and goodwill and is now in recovery and hopefully please god will stay there. But no one should have to go through this. We urgently need a change in policy right across the UK. Huge thanks to Faith, @LeukUK @AnthonyNolan @DKMS_uk for their campaign on this.
