Zuckerberg having to use X to thank Ternus because Apple doesn't use Threads is fascinating.
Muse Spark Open -- weights releasing today -- runs great on new Mac Studios thanks to work with @johnternus and Apple.

Parker is right on this one. I'd say this is the most fun/exciting/interesting time in tech (Apple and beyond) in years.
I have no patience anymore for cynical tech talk. What happened to being excited to learn about a new product before jumping immediately to ‘why won’t this work?’

The big question to me is whether Apple launches all this stuff on Tuesday and actually stays committed to it. Its smart home track record is rocky at best ... this is its chance to reverse course.

Apple releases an update for iPhone 18 Pro Max devices on AT&T to address cellular failures; units that already lost service require hardware replacement (@chancehmiller / 9to5Mac) (Visit Techmeme dot com for the link and full context!)

NEW: Apple says it has "identified an issue affecting a small number of iPhone 18 Pro Max users on the AT&T network that may cause a device to lose service and be unable to make calls." Apple tells me affected devices will need to be replaced. iOS 27.0.1 and a new carrier settings update rolling out today "are meant to help prevent this issue from occurring." Only affects iPhone 18 Pro Max on AT&T. 9to5mac.com/2026/10/02/apple…

Lots of responses here about FSD, as expected. I think FSD on a HW3 Model Y is average at best. In the six years I owned the car, I honestly think it got worse for some scenarios (highway driving), especially when Tesla removed the ability to manually set a speed. It got to the point where we would take the Mach-E with BlueCruise over the Model Y on road trips because FSD was so frustrating on the highway. I won't miss it.
Hello, R2. Goodbye, Model Y.
