I really liked the music of #GarividiLakshmi. Not sure how much of it was retained from the original cassettes, but the score in the most emotional 30 minutes towards the end is SUPERB. 👌🏻 So, I started searching for the man who scored music for this film and learnt that he has been in the industry for over 20 years. CHARAN ARJUN is his name. I dug deeper into his work and came across some interesting things. He has penned some all-time blockbusters during his journey: 🎵 Idhemitamma Maaya Maaya (Aayudham) 🎵 Raa Raa Rammantuna (Style) 🎵 Evade Subramanyam (KIKK) 🎵 Sambo Siva Sambo (Title Song) 🎵 Dillaku Dillaku (Racha) He also penned all the songs for Nagarjuna’s #Don and worked as a music supervisor for Raghava Lawrence. Apparently, Lawrence even promised him an opportunity to become a music director for his next film, which unfortunately didn’t happen. Charan Arjun eventually became a music director himself and went on to work on 25+ small films. But I genuinely believe he will finally get the recognition he deserves for his work in #GarividiLakshmi. Well done, Charan Arjun garu! All the very best. 👍🏻
