This is exactly why accountability cannot be left implicit in autonomous systems. If an agent can act with delegated authority, the system needs to make clear who authorized that authority, what limits applied, what evidence was retained, and who can intervene or revoke it. Autonomy does not remove responsibility. It makes responsibility architecture necessary.
