A 16-year-old has been cleared of murdering 18-year-old Maliki Sharma (pic) in Feltham, west London, and plotting a revenge attack amid gang violence. An Old Bailey jury found him not guilty of murder, conspiracy to cause GBH and violent disorder. A second teen was also cleared of two charges, while a third was convicted of conspiracy to cause GBH with intent.

🚨 A 16-year-old boy has been found guilty of attempted murder after stabbing a 15-year-old girl at Thorpe St Andrew High School, Norfolk, on 11 March. The victim was stabbed in the back in a school toilet and discharged from hospital the following day. Police found the boy nearby wearing clothing matching CCTV footage. His rucksack contained a notebook detailing attack plans and potential victims’ names. ⚖️ A jury at King’s Lynn Crown Court returned a unanimous guilty verdict on 21 October. He cannot be named for legal reasons.

A teenager from Ilford, Yusuf Shah, 18, has been jailed for terrorism offences. He was convicted of arranging terrorist funding, providing terrorist training and three counts of collecting terrorist materials. Shah was sentenced to 4 years and 2 months in custody and given a 10-year notification order.

Update: A man has been charged with murder and attempted murder Lawrence Johnson, 26, of has been charged with the murder of Alisha Samuels, also 26, and the attempted murder of a man following the incident on Thursday. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Knife carrying robber tasered while trying to escape Theo Gottshalk 20 threatened to "chop" his teenage victim's arm unless he handed over his phone in nottingham. He later pleaded guilty to robbery, possessing a knife in a public place, and possession of cannabis with intent to supply. He also admitted to two additional robberies in Birmingham, one on 12 September 2024 and another on 25 September 2023. Gottshalk also pleaded guilty to to possessing a firearm after he was caught with a converted blank firing pistol in Birmingham in November 2023. Theo Gottshalk was given an extended 13 year custodial sentence.

Five teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of firearm offences after armed police were called to Coventry city centre. West Midlands Police said armed officers attended Swanswell Street at around 12.40pm following a sighting of a firearm. Two 18-year-old men, two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm. All five remain in police custody for questioning. Officers also recovered an imitation firearm.

A man has admitted the attempted murder of his ex-partner after she was stabbed multiple times inside a house. Terry Langley, 49, of Bloxwich, Walsall, pleaded guilty to attempted murder at Stafford Crown Court today (Tuesday 20 October). He also admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm, burglary with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and making threats to kill.
