Quick public service announcement from me. I am NOT a source of information. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Everything I post is just my personal opinion, my half-baked take, or me yelling at the clouds. I will almost certainly be wrong about something (probably multiple things). That’s basically guaranteed. I do this purely for fun, debate, and because I’m bored on the sofa (thanks to the injury). No grand plans, no podcast ambitions, no clout-chasing, no “building a brand.” Just debates and occasional regret in the replies. So argue with me, roast me, or laugh along — but please don’t quote me in an argument or as proof of facts like I’m some kind of authority. I’m basically just a person with opinions and Wi-Fi. Carry on! 😂❤️

Update! 👇👇
Five teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of firearm offences after armed police were called to Coventry city centre. West Midlands Police said armed officers attended Swanswell Street at around 12.40pm following a sighting of a firearm. Two 18-year-old men, two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm. All five remain in police custody for questioning. Officers also recovered an imitation firearm.

🚨I've seen a few posts saying this is contempt of court. In my opinion, it isn't. Under the Contempt of Court Act 1981, it's only contempt if what's said creates a substantial risk of serious prejudice to the trial. That's a high bar. Talking about how you feel, or what you think of the justice system in general, doesn't usually come close. Talking about the evidence or witnesses, or trying to reach the jury, would. Jurors are also told by the judge not to look at media about the case. You don't have to like the man to get the law right.

7.1 Million. 🚨🫤 That's how many migrants Britain added in 24 years. More than any other country in Europe. Labour, Tory, Labour. Every one of them promised to bring it down. Each one invited more.

Two men were re-arrested over the alleged RAF Fairford plot, this time on suspicion of helping a foreign intelligence service. The PM says Iran's Revolutionary Guard was "almost certainly" behind it. Iran denies it. A hostile state allegedly targeted a British air base. Let that sink in. apnews.com/article/uk-arrest…

Armed police pinned young lads to the ground at gunpoint, reportedly near a college in Coventry. Armed officers aren’t deployed on a whim. There has to be intelligence or a report of a weapon. What happened? Was anything found? Has anyone been arrested? Parents deserve answers. Over to you, @WMPolice. Cracking work too!!

🚨France is putting soldiers on the streets for Saturday's protests. Sentinelle troops will guard key sites so police and gendarmes are free for crowd control. The GIGN and RAID units are being reinforced, there'll be more water cannon, and protests could be banned outright. 149 people have been jailed so far. When a country needs the army to guard buildings so the police can hold the streets, it's not "a few protests" any more.

Thank goodness they where not in the UK and sent a spicy tweet… Early sentences from the 17 October French riots (regional press): Of the cases listed, 7 people were explicitly described as undocumented (clandestins) or foreign nationals: • 2 undocumented men in Lille (looting shops) → 10 months prison + 2-year territory ban • Tunisian delivery driver in Rouen (looted gold shop, recidivist) → 8 months prison • Mohamed, undocumented in Lyon (Louis Vuitton looting) → 6 months prison + 2-year ban • Swiss black-bloc protester (from abroad) in Lyon → 12 months suspended • 1 undocumented man in Tours (receiving stolen goods) → 4 months suspended • 1 undocumented man in Nantes (looting/violence) → part of 4–8 months suspended group sentences Most others received short or fully suspended terms, community service, or electronic bracelets despite possible sentences of 5–14 years.

Who is the real Home Secretary?🤷‍♂️ @ShabanaMahmood writes the immigration policy. @AngelaRayner decides whether it survives. In March, Rayner called it "un-British". In September, it "changed the goalposts". Today she's "absolutely" behind it and says she "literally made my views known as part of that consultation". Labour's real number two isn't on paper. She just tells the Home Secretary what she's allowed to do.

A fool and his money are soon parted. A virtue fool and his money are parted even faster. The “Palestine Poppy” turns Remembrance into political merch and sends a cut of the cash to Friends of Al-Aqsa — whose founder publicly saluted Hamas, met their leaders, and said they’re “no terrorist organisation”. Wear it if you want. Just know exactly what you’re funding.

More none answers from the one and only Rayner.. Simple question from Nick Robinson: do you back cutting some benefits for young people to get them into work? Angela Rayner: "We can't put the cart before the horse." 🐴 That's not a yes. It's not a no either. A million young people aren't in work or training, and the Cabinet can't even give a straight answer.

I think Mike is going to upset the boat with this. Hard to disagree with him on the points. However I’ve not watched the documentary yet, that’s later on.
My asks on migration. 1. Convene COBR. 2. Immediate returns on interception. 3. Detention whilst claims processed. 4. Exempt health and care workers from ILR retrospective extension. Watch the full documentary to find out why. 🔗 piped.video/fYZ15QFHmKo

Police dancing on duty isn’t “community engagement”. It’s unprofessional, undisciplined, and a bad look. Ben’s right — we should expect better from British policing.
The video I shared earlier has certainly divided opinion. Many agreed with me. Many strongly disagreed. I've been called miserable, among plenty of other things. Others agreed that the behaviour was highly unprofessional and not a good look for British policing. I stand by every word of my original post, i don't think police officers should be behaving like this in public. It looks woke, undisciplined and completely unprofessional. Call me miserable all you like. I expect better from British policing.

🚨When the right protests, they’re instantly described as criminals who get locked up all the time and are blocked from seeing their kids. But when migrants and second-generation migrants riot, loot and burn buildings across France, BBC Newsnight says it’s “not a big issue” and that France is just a “diverse country.” Tim Stanley, a Telegraph columnist, says it’s implausible to claim the riots aren’t about immigration when people can see “migrants rioting” on their phones. Marie Billon, a French broadcast journalist, replies that non-white doesn’t mean migrant and that it’s “really not a big issue” at the moment. Credit: 🎥 BBC Newsnight Same violence, completely different language. The framing is deliberate.

Italy's answer to the Milan riots: 500 extra troops on the streets with arrest powers. 23 of the 32 people arrested on Sunday were minors. Paris, Lyon, Marseille, now Milan. A Europe-wide youth "strike" is planned for 20 November. Someone in the Home Office should be paying attention.
