Le Bénin, à travers l'Agence des Systèmes d'Information et du Numérique (ASIN), vient d’être distingué sur la scène internationale en recevant le 50-in-5 Impact Award 2026, une récompense décernée aux pays ayant démontré un impact concret de leurs infrastructures publiques numériques sur la vie des populations.
Cette distinction a été remise le 21 septembre 2026 à New York, en marge de la 81e Assemblée générale des Nations Unies, au Directeur Général de l’ASIN, Monsieur Marc-André LOKO, à l’occasion du 50-in-5 Milestone Event.

Rafiki has been recognized as a digital public good by the @DPGAlliance.
You can now find the #Rafiki codebase in the official Digital Public Goods Registry. The DPG Standard isn’t a rubber stamp of approval. It evaluates nine areas including open licensing, clear ownership, documentation, platform independence, data protection, interoperability standards, accessibility, and whether a product is designed to do no harm.
Rafiki’s review included verification of its codebase and documentation, along with an accessibility audit.

What a week for the #DigitalPublicGoods community! The @DPGAlliance Annual Members Meeting in Brasília brought together an inspiring group of changemakers committed to developing and scaling open-source solutions for the public good.
As a digital public good focused on social protection, we had the chance to engage with leaders and peers who are shaping the future of digital systems that serve the public good. It is clearer than ever that meaningful progress on digital public infrastructure depends on shared commitment, collective learning, and close collaboration across government, the private sector, and the open-source community.

This year’s report highlights how @DPGAlliance members and DPG product owners are strengthening the Digital Public Goods (DPG) ecosystem, and one standout feature is GOARN’s Go.Data tool. 🌍
Go.Data, developed by @WHO in collaboration with GOARN, is revolutionizing outbreak response by enabling real-time, offline data collection for case investigations, contact tracing, and more. This innovative tool streamlines the entire process, allowing for quicker, more coordinated action during health emergencies.
From its first deployment in 2019 to its critical role during the COVID-19 pandemic, Go.Data’s global impact continues to grow. Most recently, it played a key role in Uganda’s Mpox outbreak, identifying 343 cases and over 2,000 contacts, with more than 80% of contacts followed up.
