Week 1 of getting a million people on #Holochain. I'm trying to get the world to know a technology that solves what blockchain couldn't. Almost nobody has heard of it, and I'd like to change that in public, one week at a time. It's called Holochain. With blockchain, every computer has to agree on the same ledger. That works for money but it's a bad fit for the apps we use every day. On Holochain you keep your own signed records and other people check them. Nobody holds everyone's data in one place, so there's no single vault to break into. A million is a lot when almost nobody knows the name. People have to hear about it before they can use it, so the number I'll watch every week is Google Trends. Interest in Holochain is at 2 right now. In April 2021, when crypto was going to the moon, it reached 100. I want to go past that, and this time without a bull run doing the work. I won't post the user count every week.
