..but now that we know her stepfather was indeed charged with rape (and fled to avoid conviction - this was far easier 50 years ago with statue of limitations) I'd say that is the worst ad of history.

Hey guys, I’m going to say this gently, uh, Elizabeth Holmes is a master manipulator. And the fact that y’all are coming out and saying: “well actually, Fielder and Seyfried are just as duplicitous,” is proving even more that the movie worked. Because the film is a showcase of how scammers work and how even when all the evidence is pointed against them, they can somehow still get by, to the point where even Fielder was compromised.
And the fact that some of y’all are willfully ignoring that to invent this falsified reality just reinforces how effective the scam is

The thing is Nathan was arguably already there. This movie worked because Billy and Elizabeth knew his bit and thought they could still outsmart him, and that sort of thing only really works once.
one thing that sucks about You Can See Everything is that is has the Borat-effect of making Nathan too famous to pull off stunts in the future without some kind of new disguise
there won’t be a lot of unsuspecting boomers left if he has a blockbuster and wins multiple Oscars
