i have been steadily banging the drum on domestic transformer production since 2023, and now, we have resolute grid. the last time an american company fully designed and built these was in the late 80s. so excited to see this come roaring back. incredible work!

Exciting to see @DeptofWar supporting American Reindustrialization. This loan is one of many. @stoke_space is the most likely team to reach full and rapid reusability after @SpaceX. They must be supported. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ 🦾 πŸš€ Via @calvinb21 @DefenseDaily defensedaily.com/dod-makes-1…

There is a future where trips to Mars take weeks not months. We are excited to be building this future at @stelliostech Compact fusion and next generation power systems are the key unlock. Thank you @etnshow for sharing our story! Great questions @lukeknight & @ronanchamberss
Stellios Founder and CEO Richard Starson told us that fusion-powered space travel is closer than people think, and that trips to Mars could end up taking weeks not months: "I think that today fusion is in a similar time as AI was in 2017–2018, when transformers were invented but ChatGPT did not appear yet. The building blocks of compact fusion are already there." "There are multiple companies that will get to fusion. Most of them are focused on electricity generation. We believe we have a design that can make fusion energy not just functional, but also compact and lightweight.” "Once you've got fusion-powered engines, you can get from here to Mars in weeks instead of months."

The world is heading towards Abundance. From space to AI to fusion energy and beyond. The only risk is that we let communist lunatics set the world on fire. Thank you @shaunmmaguire for being the voice of light and courage! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έβ€οΈ

Capitalism is the greatest system for human progress and @iamjohnmackey is a legend. From pioneering real food to evangelizing conscious capitalism, he has been an inspiration to me since I started Sweetgreen.
"Capitalism created the possibility of the win win win. It used to be a zero sum game where somebody won, somebody else lost. The biggest mistake people make they still think we're in a zero sum world. They're obsessed with some billionaires because Bernie Sanders thinks that @JeffBezos and @elonmusk somehow stole the money from the people. They don't understand that it's this prosperity machine that's creating more, not just for those billionaires, but for everything that they're touching. They're creating value for their customers, they're creating value for their employees. Their suppliers are flourishing, their investors are seeing their capital go up. It can be reinvested and compound. All philanthropy ultimately comes from business. That's where the profits are. Where does all the taxes come from? It ultimately comes from business as well. This is the engine that's lifting humanity out. The entrepreneurs are the drivers of that engine. Somebody like Elon Musk, he gets a very, very, very tiny sliver of the value that he creates for the whole world." β€” @iamjohnmackey

The future of manufacturing is Robots + Humans. We must lead this frontier in America. And we definitely need more ship building! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ¦ΎπŸš’ Great coverage @AtomsNotBits
BREAKING: America is getting a new robotic shipyard. HD Hyundai and Kiewit have announced plans to build a highly automated shipyard on an existing industrial site with deepwater access to the Gulf of Mexico (exact location undisclosed). The shipyard will use robotic welding, digital twins, and automated production systems to build U.S. Navy auxiliary and commercial vessels. Construction is targeted for 2027, with plans to create up to 3,000 American jobs at full capacity.

Spot on @Melt_Dem As a founder, you must cover both 1. Product sales & delivery of a great product that people actually need and are willing to pay for. 2. Raising capital and making the risk/reward story both clear and appealing.
founders have two products 1. what they sell to customers 2. the risk they sell to capital a great founder does (1) well but may struggle to raise an exceptional founder does (1) and (2) well and creates + EV a promoter founder does (2) well and tries to use it to fake (1)

High Power Microwave systems are non-lethal deterrent. They are also effective against drones and anything with electronics. We are seeing early days of directed energy protecting America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ¦Ύ Exciting to see @DHSgov @DeptofWar at the forefront of innovation.
NEW: The Pentagon has granted the Department of Homeland Security permission to test a heat ray weapon at the southern border. The military-grade heat ray can shoot an invisible beam of electromagnetic waves at potential intruders. The weapon can reach people more than half a mile away, according to the United States military. According to the Pentagon, the heat ray weapon is non-lethal but causes a burning sensation on the skin that can last between 10 and 15 minutes. The weapon sends an uncomfortable tingling effect on a potential intruder, generating "an instinctive and irresistible urge to run from the effect." Officials say the feeling is similar to the blast of heat you receive when you open up a hot oven.
