This World Food Day, we shine a light on social media feeds that are a red carpet for junk food ads!
Joined with the amazing @katfoodjenner , it was great to be back on Radio 4 to share how prevalent junk food ads are in the lives of young people.
Thanks for having us on :)
Pleased to share our new paper which found that exposure to HFSS marketing through traditional formats (e.g. broadcast & print) was associated with greater household purchases of energy (9779kcal), protein (416g), carbohydrate(1164g) and sugar (514g) over a four week period.
