This morning was a moment I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
Today, I had the honor of delivering my final State of the City Address as Mayor of the @CityofDeltonaFL . Standing before our community and reflecting on nearly four years of service brought a wave of emotions, gratitude, and memories that words can hardly describe.
When I first took office, I made a commitment to put our residents first, fight for our city’s future, and leave Deltona better than I found it. Looking back at how far we’ve come, I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together.
There have been victories, challenges, difficult decisions, and countless blessings along the way. Through it all, my faith in God, the love of my family, and my commitment to the people of Deltona have remained my foundation.
While this may have been my last State of the City Address as Mayor, my love for Deltona and my commitment to our community will never end.
I want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to the Deltona & Greater West Volusia Chamber of Commerce for putting together such a wonderful event and for the tremendous support throughout my time as Mayor. Your dedication to our business community, your partnership with the City, and your continued commitment to Deltona’s growth and success have meant more than you know. I am truly grateful for everything you have done to make this occasion so special and memorable.
To everyone who has been part of this journey, THANK YOU! Serving as your Mayor has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

Congratulations to Pastor Jordan Davis on winning the World Food Championships as the 2026 World Barbecue Champion!!! 🏆 Carmel is so very proud!
Here’s hoping this win brings even more support to this wonderful mission. Through The Smoking Pastor Project, he and his volunteers prepare and donate quality meals to local food pantries, serving neighbors in need with dignity and care.
