Dear followers, I am deeply moved by the many messages of thanks and appreciation you've posted here. I cannot reply to them all but I've read every one. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for this kind attention. I wish you all the very best. Please know that my decision is not a capitulation. I stand by my predictions and can only watch as they become increasingly likely. The ongoing emergence of saltation variants is not, in itself, remarkable. What's truly remarkable and spectacular is the speed with which increasingly immune-subversive saltation variants are being selected in highly C-19-vaccinated populations! I'll continue to follow this and may write a Substack article about it when appropriate but for now, I intend to focus more on several aspects of life that I've neglected for too long.

As already said, this too is part of the reason I’m quitting: more and more uneducated clowns with simple minds suddenly think they’re intelligent because their AI answers their biased questions exactly the way they want. They’re even too stupid to understand that, depending on how you phrase the question and what your previous queries have been, the tool can give a completely different answer, as I’ve proven above ("thank you, ChatGPT"). Can it get any more ridiculous? Yes, of course, because it’s only a matter of time before these idiots go and have an AI brain prosthesis implanted flat-out!

Wie een wetenschappelijke hypothese wil weerleggen, moet haar inhoudelijk onderzoeken en met tegenargumenten komen. Het afkeuren van het publicatiekanaal en het verdacht maken van vrijwillige steun zijn geen wetenschappelijke argumenten. Uw reactie zegt dan ook bitter weinig over mijn wetenschappelijke inzichten maar des te meer over de kwaliteit van uw kritiek. Tenzij u natuurlijk kunt aangeven welke concrete immunologische of virologische redeneringen in mijn hypothese onjuist zijn, en op basis van welke empirische gegevens?

Maar misschien vindt u inderdaad dat een onafhankelijke wetenschapper die jarenlang onbezoldigd zijn expertise ten dienste van het publieke debat stelt, zelfs geen vrijwillige steun mag ontvangen? Of moet hij eerst op de bedelstaf belanden voordat zijn wetenschappelijke integriteit voor u geloofwaardig wordt?

En dan uw insinuatie over mijn zogenaamd ‘betaalde Substack’. Al mijn analyses, inzichten en conclusies waren vrij toegankelijk. Financiële steun was volledig vrijwillig en nooit een voorwaarde om mijn werk te kunnen lezen.

U verwart wetenschappelijke kwaliteit met het publicatiekanaal. Peer review is belangrijk, maar al lang geen garantie meer voor betrouwbaarheid, laat staan onfeilbaarheid. Een hypothese wordt beoordeeld op haar wetenschappelijke onderbouwing, toetsbaarheid en verklarende kracht, niet op het prestige van het tijdschrift waarin ze verschijnt.

Dat de beschermende rol van vooraf bestaande natuurlijke IgM tegen SC-2 nog niet definitief causaal bewezen is, erken ik. Dat is echter iets anders dan een hypothese zonder wetenschappelijke onderbouwing. Maar blijkbaar vindt u het belangrijker van mij alsnog in diskrediet te brengen dan in het reine te komen met uw gebrek aan kennis van de literatuur.
