Forward an email to your private Harbor Notes address and it becomes a note. Subject is the title, body is the note, and the words inside attachments are searchable.
Put #taxes in the subject, or @ plus a notebook name, and it files itself.

Snap a photo of a handwritten recipe card, whiteboard, or old receipt and drop it in a note.
Harbor Notes reads the words in it. Search "lasagna" and the match lights up in yellow on the handwriting.

If you're thinking about leaving Evernote, export first and decide later.
In the desktop app, open the menu on a notebook and choose Export. You get an .enex file with your notes, tags and attachments. Do one per notebook.
Now your notes are safe no matter where you end up.
