❗️Attention! Information Regarding a Humanitarian Mission to Assist the People of Oleshky US @FLOTUS has issued a statement announcing the launch of a humanitarian mission to rescue people currently in the city of Oleshky. I confirm this statement and would like to personally thank Melania Trump and her team for their efforts, leadership, and coordination between the Ukrainian and Russian negotiating teams in reaching an agreement. On the Ukrainian side, I conducted the negotiations in my capacity as Ukraine’s Ombudsman, while Yana Lantratova, Commissioner for Human Rights, represented the Russian side. Under our agreement: 📌a ceasefire will be established; 📌humanitarian aid will be delivered to Oleshky; 📌the safe passage of civilians out of Oleshky will be ensured. I ask for your understanding regarding the public disclosure of information about this critical humanitarian mission. The whole world knows about Oleshky today, and we are doing everything possible to rescue our citizens who are currently there. The operation is extremely complex and will be carried out in stages. ‼️I will keep you updated and continue to inform the Ukrainian public and share the results. As of today, the Ukrainian side has done — and continues to do —everything in its power to rescue the citizens currently in Oleshky.

Starshield/Starlink speed restrictions remain in place. Every day matters for Ukraine, because every Ukrainian life matters. Our people are waiting for positive news, hoping that the restrictions will be lifted and our defenders will have the capabilities they need to protect lives. Unfortunately, as of today, nothing has changed. We continue to wait.

Hard pass. “Her record is incompatible with the integrity and moral authority that is expected of the UN chief. As Assistant Foreign Minister of the UAE, she's sought to deflect from its backing of the genocidal Rapid Support Forces in Sudan.” devex.com/news/uae-diplomat-…

Grateful to lead this letter with nearly two-dozen @UkraineCaucus colleagues calling for Ukraine to be allowed to use Starlink to hit launch sites within Russia. Ukraine must be able to defend itself, its people, and the West! The best way is to destroy Russia’s ability to launch its terrorist attacks. thehill.com/homenews/house/6…

“anyone who attempts to limit the use of Starshield for Ukraine will be fully investigated and will be held fully accountable,”
I will be speaking with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team this week to discuss Starshield, sanctions, and other matters pertaining to the defense of our strong ally, Ukraine. I will be assuring President Zelenskyy that anyone who attempts to limit the use of Starshield for Ukraine will be fully investigated and will be held fully accountable, to include public congressional oversight hearings, and immediate harsh and punitive budget cuts to any responsible agency or agency head. Congress will unequivocally reaffirm that Ukraine is an indispensable ally to the United States, that Russia is a self-declared enemy of the United States, and that the United States will 100% support and defend the people of Ukraine in their fight for their own freedom against this brutal, illegal, and unprovoked Russian invasion. The United States must provide any and all defensive equipment that Ukraine needs to defend itself. The United States must not import a single drop of Russian oil. Sanctions against the Russian regime must be harsher and stronger than they’ve ever been before. Each and every one of these items will be brought to the House Floor—and each and every one of these items will pass on the House Floor by an overwhelming margin. This is, after all, what Ronald Reagan would do. And this is what we will do now. Ukraine can, and will, defeat Russia. #PeaceThroughStrength

Fact 1: President Trump wants Ukraine to stop attacking Russian petroleum infrastructure. Fact 2: President Zelenskyy wants access to U.S. targeting assistance to stop Russian missiles from being launched at Ukrainian civilians from inside Russia. Fact 3: President Zelenskyy has agreed not to hit Russian petroleum in exchange for this targeting assistance. Fact 4: President Trump can lower prices at the pump today by simply agreeing to this deal! MR. PRESIDENT, PLEASE TAKE THIS WIN!

Zelenskyy spoke to Kushner and Witkoff by phone this afternoon. No details in this readout but the language used is still remarkable. "Peace comes only through strength and cooperation built on trust," Zelenskyy says. "We are doing everything on our part to make this happen, and to ensure that America’s position is strong and helps bring peace closer."
Had a conversation with the American President’s envoys, Steve Witkoff @SEPeaceMissions and Jared Kushner @jaredkushner. Peace comes only through strength and cooperation built on trust. We are doing everything on our part to make this happen, and to ensure that America’s position is strong and helps bring peace closer. Peace that everyone, except Russia, has been waiting for over the past four and a half years. In particular, we discussed the results of our teams’ meeting in Florida. Our teams maintain virtually nonstop communication. We are also preparing the next steps in diplomacy. We constantly inform our partners about the real situation with Russian strikes, which do not cease for a single minute, and about air defense issues. A lot here depends precisely on America’s position. Ukraine remains ready to work constructively, honestly, and toward a real result. I thank everyone in America who supports Ukraine and this particular approach.

Based on the information currently available to us, we cannot confirm that Starshield’s full capabilities have been restored. Four (4!) days after we submitted our inquiries, we have yet to receive a response from the Pentagon or SpaceX. We hope to receive confirmation that unlimited speeds have been restored and that Starshield is operating as it did previously, providing reliable communications essential to protecting our people amid intensified Russian aerial attacks.

“we will pay any price….to assure the success and survival of liberty.” Is this still true? Do we prize liberty or do we prize power and purse? No more clear test than the choice between Ukraine and Russia. Abandon Ukraine and we abandon liberty. Eventually even our own.
