One of our cats, Mickey Mouse, has started eating at our dining table. He says it is ‘One of his human rights’ When I suggested he wasn’t a human, he called me a Nazi

Mr Cleese. It would appear that your cat, Micky Mouse, is spending time with another dodgy cat.

Maybe calling him Mickey Mouse gave him an identity crisis?

That’s what you get when you send them off to university. They come back brainwashed.

Ours like to sit with us too when we have dinner. It is the cutest thing and they don’t mess with food. We might even give them a little piece and they like to look at it or sniff it but they don’t bother our stuff. They just want to be in there with us and sit at the table. I usually make them sit in chairs like yours, but my husband spoils them at breakfast.

Perhaps Mickey Mouse should apply to head the Oxford Union. I hear there's a vacancy, and he'd fit right in.

Yes, you’re definitely encroaching on his rights. Just because he’s a cat and it’s your house doesn’t mean he can’t take over. That’s what I’ve heard

I don’t believe for one minute any cat would allow himself to be called “human”.

Well, there is some evidence to support Mickey Mouse's assertion, John. 😆

😂😂😂 Suggesting we have any control over our feline overlords. That's your most ridiculous joke yet.

MM is a beautiful boy whose coloring matches the dining furniture beautifully. He obviously realized this.

One of my cats only drinks water if it is served in a glass on the dining table. She doesn’t want to share the bowl on the floor with her brother and son. That is for animals. She also prefers walks in her stroller and sometimes joins us when we go out to eat. She orders shrimps

Apparently “wokeness” decrees that the feral doesn’t like to be called feral (he’s offended) - so he’s now referred to as a “Free Living Community Cat”

Still got it😁 Question: Did you buy the furniture to match the cat, or t'other way round? Either way, they go handsomely well together.

It is actually fascinating how cats are slowly co evolving with humans. There are differences in world views... But like when we domesticated dogs they adapted with favorable traits that bridged the gap that leads to altruism for the benefit of both species. Cats!
