So many fucking hours wasted in this accursed site trying to drill into people's heads that 1 tank gone from storage ≠ 1 tank destroyed

Thread of threads: 1/ Prewar BTRZ count:
1/ Prewar AFV and tank count of Russian BTRZs (BTRZ stands for Armor Repair Plant) in collaboration with @HighMarsed. Before diving into the count, BTRZs aren't actual storage facilities, but factories where equipment previously in storage is set to be refurbished for service.

Unfortunate, but not surprising.
Ua losses updated their count, methodology and map on Ukrainian 🇺🇦 losses in the war, following KIA, MIA and POW Ukrainian losses : 🔸29k losses in 2022 🔸31k losses in 2023 🔸47k losses in 2024 🔸51k losses in 2025 🔸30k losses in 2026 The database is very useful : we have multiple units, WIA and POW, a map of losses and the possibility to track key battles of the war. The recent data is much better than the Russian one and includes MIA, which is the main difference with Mediazona's count of Russian losses (it is also less conservative). 🔸 ~2k Ukrainian soldiers died during the Kostiantynivka battle, most of which are MIA 🔸~4k Ukrainian soldiers died during the Pokrovsk battle 🔸~1.2k Ukrainian soldiers died in Krinky, Kherson oblast 🔸~6k Ukrainian soldiers died in the Bakhmut battle 🔸~2k soldiers died in the Robotyne counter-offensive and ~1k in the Velika Novosilka counter-offensive 🔸~8k Ukrainian soldiers died during the Kursk operation (all lenght of it) Check @LossesUA for details

Russia has brought in over 2 million Uzbeks in just ~18 months, yet people still insist it would never embrace mass migration like the West. How many more examples do you need before accepting that mass migration will be a global phenomenon this century?
Arrival of migrant workers to Russia. 2025-2026 (First half of the year) Uzbekistan being the largest source of migrants, with 1.3 million in 2025 and 1.1 million in 2026

ran to the replies looking for pic related and I wasn't disappointed.
BREAKING: Saudi Arabia offers Yemen's Houthis $1 billion through Tehran to halt their attacks as part of a ceasefire, with Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman flying to Iran to negotiate it and even bringing the money with him aboard the C-130 aircraft he arrived on, per diplomatic Gulf sources to Israel Hayom. Iran offered to mediate between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis. It was represented by President Pezeshkian, SNSC chief Mohsen Rezaei and senior IRGC officials. Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin and Pakistan's army chief Asim Munir were also taking part. This is one of the biggest concessions from the Saudis yet.

Military analyst Kofman: This year Russia is trying to buy 1,300 ballistic missiles, 1,600 cruise missiles and over 120K long-range attack drones and decoys. Jet drones are over half its strike drones. Only about 60% get shot down, against 90% for prop drones. 1/

Shit, 90% of this is everything I always asked for a post Shepard Mass Effect game. Kill me pls.
I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe. Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development. • Set 600+ years after the Reaper War • You play as a customizable N7 agent • Instead of being a walking gun rack, you're a cross between John Wick and James Bond • Shepard's legacy preserved, regardless of your ending • A galaxy divided into three major factions • Humanity, Krogan, Batarians, and more allied together • Council races forming their own alliance • The Geth emerging as a third superpower • A galactic Cold War instead of another Reaper style invasion with a shadowy adversary • Geth-built megastructures • Connections between the Milky Way and Andromeda • Experimental technology implanted in you as a unique point of difference • Hacking and manipulating the environment • See through walls, identify systems, remotely trigger hazards and more • Handcrafted missions like ME1-3 • But with Hitman-style freedom in how you complete them • Brutal close-range executions • Squadmates who can clash with each other • Romance wasn't being sanitised • Liara returns - now an incredibly powerful Asari Matriarch From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist. It looked incredible. And now we may never get to play it. Find out more here: piped.video/ZOWrTNazZxM #SaveMassEffect

Disappointingly, Starshield still doesn’t work well and seems to cut out for units above 160kmh. The improvement observed earlier today seems inconsistent and unstable.

Robert Brovdi of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems reports what we've all been seeing ourselves: "The worm is in a hurry, already 12,000. 542☠️🩸worm per day - the average daily Delta-confirmed result of SBS Birds during October, which is higher by +52.6% (355/day) compared to August and +20.7% (449/day) compared to September 2026. On the online scoreboard SBS Counts as of 8:00 am October 23, 12013☠️🩸units of irreversible and sanitary losses of enemy manpower, 47,891 enemy targets hit (2,162 targets average daily). 68.6% of losses (8,251 out of 12,013) - “casualties” of enemy manpower in the Dobropil-Pokrovsky direction (5,239☠️🩸), on Oleksandrivske and Hulyaipilske (3012☠️🩸). *the figures provided relate exclusively to the units of the SBS Group, and do not include the results of any other SOU units. All results are verified in the Delta situational awareness system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The increase in the number of enemy personnel on the tape is exactly like this. There are still 9 days of October ahead, - there will be 16+ thousand worms and over 60 thousand targets effectively worked out by the Birds. Work is a joke. We will stand, Moscow will fall"

These last few days, there is an explosion of the number of Russian 🇷🇺 soldiers eliminated as per Ukrainian 🇺🇦official sources ▫️Official sources shouldn't be taken as fully trustworthy, of course, but the trends are important ▫️For example, GSUA numbers of Russian losses in 2022-2024 are in fact very close to the Mediazona count (using a KIA/WIA ratio), which shows that they are still partly accurate ▫️These last few days, the number of eliminated Russian soldiers has exploded, even reaching 2 000 a day. The USF grouping (only the drone army, not the UA army or special forces) claim they hit 11 800 soldiers this month, more than in August (and we are only on the 22nd). This trend is corroborated by both the USF numbers and the general staff, but why ? ▫️Because Russia is putting a massive effort to attack Dobropilla. They claim they captured the city and they send hundreds of men everyday there. In fact losses are much higher than in Bakhmut in 2023 (known as a bloody battle). ▫️All reserves from 4 different armies are being thrown at Dobropilla before the winter, because they want to wage a battle in an urban area this year, knowing how costly last winter was to just reach Kostiantynivka outskirts.
