What can I say… my heart sank at the recent news. You think about moments in your life that feel surreal. Working with Patrick Stewart was one of them.
On our first night of filming Blunt Talk, I told him how special an occasion it was for me because I used to do my homework while watching Star Trek as a kid. He was noticeably affected and appreciated the full-circle moment for me.
He was a consummate professional, a gentleman, and a master of his craft. I always felt safe around him, something I don’t take for granted in this complicated world.
Thank you, good sir, for the many gifts you gave us. All my love to his dear Sunny and family.
