We have amazing businesses here & could play a key role in the UK's economic growth agenda. NI had a chance to champion them & with budget talks underway, make the case for fair funding to the PM face-to-face. The DUP have put party before people, again. Pathetic.

Think I’m the only Alliance rep to have spoken about sex work in chamber this mandate & this was the exchange. As is clear below: I respect there are differing views - my main concern has always been ensuring women aren’t further removed from support when they need it.
One of the most depressing exchanges in the Assembly was hearing the Alliance Party argue that some women “willingly” choose sex work. It is not true consent, its exploitation, abuse & it
involves women being treated as commodities. These websites should be banned.

A constituent contacted me last week because they have a 10 year wait to see a consultant. I wrote to the Trust & they confirmed he had a 10.8yr wait. The system is not working, which is why we are committed to working with any other party to transform health & social care ⤵️
