Andrew Luster, an heir to the Max Factor cosmetics fortune, was convicted in 2003 of 86 counts of drugging and raping three innocent victims. He was sentenced to 124 years in prison. That was later reduced to 50 years. The State of CA just released him after serving only 20 years. This is the result of Prop 57 and numerous other ridiculous, unreasonable and unsafe policies supported & passed by Sacramento and CA politicians over the last 15 years. Rapists aren’t victims. Prisons & jails are necessary to make sure we, our children, our families and our communities are safe from dangerous people & repeat offenders. “Criminal justice reform” shouldn’t mean murderers, thieves and rapists are victims, we just ignore and forget about the real victims, prisons should be abolished, violent criminals should be released early, even rapists should get “good time” credits, 50 yrs old is considered an elder if you are a violent criminal, everyone gets to claim they are entitled to mental health diversion, theft isn’t a crime anymore, we should embrace open air drug markets, LWOP sentences should be reduced, and so many other dangerous and nonsensical policies. Can one politician who supported this tell us how does releasing a serial rapist into the community of Glendora make children or families in that community any safer or better off?

I wonder how much revenue these small businesses lost while “broke” @SFMTA_Muni pays $75 k per year to close ONE block of Hayes while there’s a wide open pedestrian space right beside it, and ignores their own rules being violated by the Hayes St. colonizers? @DanielLurie
97 weeks. Same permit. Same noncompliance. The 400 block of Hayes remains closed. The request to SFMTA remains the same: revoke Permit No. 1316522. hvsafe.com/nc97 #ReOpenHayes

Did you get a text from the "absolutely no sharing" campaign? I did, and so did everyone I know. Money can buy mass texts, but I hope San Francisco voters will see through the misleading claims. So many distortions packed into one text message. As we predicted, Lucas Lux and his lobbyists are using kids and a playground to influence voters. "What about the children?" This emotional appeal comes as no surprise. People saw it when Lucas Lux expedited the playground's construction after SF voters submitted more than enough signatures to put the compromise on the November ballot. The intent is to inflate the cost of restoring weekday access and use children as a shield for their political agenda. The person sending the text is not a volunteer. Their inflated $20 million claim is not supported by the City Controller's Office. And the Great Highway and Ocean Beach were already local destinations long before permanent closure. People have enjoyed our coastline for generations. No on G did not give us what we already had. The compromise will not remove a 50-acre park. San Francisco can have both: safe streets and great parks. The Great Highway is still an asphalt road, and approved vehicles preferred by Lucas Lux still drive on it. Lucas Lux just doesn't want commuters on his exclusive asphalt road, even when it's empty on weekdays. We already know the sand doesn't stop moving. Signals and signs are necessary because there have been more injuries on the permanently closed asphalt road than when Great Highway was open to commuters. The Controller's Office added cost for standard maintenance to its estimate for the Compromise, but nobody wants to mention how much taxpayers would need to continue spending on the permanent closure. $750,000 was spent on a temporary playground with a one-year permit because the rich and wealthy can spend that money, while other SF neighborhood that needs a park werr told no park for them. Construction for the playground was expedited after voters were approved for a vote in November. Don't ask voters to guess why Lucas Lux did what he did, knowing voters will be voting in a few month. San Francisco deserves honest information. We can share. We can compromise. Vote YES on G. Hilton would install new parole board and would never allow this monster to be paroled. Proposition 57 won’t be reformed under the super majority Democrats that want to reduce prison population no matter what they’ve done. nbclosangeles.com/news/local…

If anything should persuade you to vote Hilton for governor at least he would replace the parole board and not let monsters like this out of prison Reform to prop 57 should be a no-brainer. Becerra said he would make no changes.
ktla.com/news/california/out… @GavinNewsom & his appointed parole board let this monster out of prison EARLY. Andrew Luster was CONVICTED of 86 FELONY COUNTS of RAPE & DRUG related crimes. He was drugging women and RAPING them. Prop 57 re classified the crime of rape as a NON VIOLENT CRIME. Are you following me…RAPISTS are considered NON VIOLENT for the purpose of giving them early release. VOTERS were deceived. Prop 57 was passed by the voters with the intent to give early release eligibility to non violent low level offenders. Instead Newsom & his parole board changed the label of VIOLENT to NON VIOLENT of rapists, pedophiles, child abusers. Are you ANGRY? If not YOU are part of the problem. @KevinKileyCA @TheKevinDalton @Anna_Giaritelli @VictimsRightsUS @schubertstrat @RAINN @Milajoy @spencerpratt @SteveHiltonx

Sacramento politicians told people in the 6th District not to even bother voting. The outcome was already dictated by the map they drew for one of their own. But the voters had other ideas. We now have a chance to protect our representation and to make history.

Remember Sam Singer and Joe Arellano? Both are mentioned in this article. Both worked on Joel Engardio's anti-recall campaign. Now both are working on Scott Wiener's campaign for Congress. They all report to the same lobbyists, one is Todd David with Abundance Network. Scott Wiener told Joel Engardio to bypass his constituents and push the permanent closure of the Great Highway without a single town hall. They believe a grassroots movement without money can't win. Now they are training their right-hand man, Lucas Lux, run the No on G campaign to deny a fair compromise that shares the two-mile Great Highway inside the 50-acre Sunset Dunes Park. Absolutely cannot share access. It's their way or no way. Todd David's Abundance Network is acting as No on G's Super PAC, and Abundance Network staff is also on No on G's payroll. The money circulates among insiders. They think they are above the rules and regulations. They think people are too stupid to connect the dots, or too scared to say anything… Vote YES on G. Because @XavierBecerra is an arrogant, ignorant jerk. He even refused to do a debate on Spanish @Univision so he doesn’t even care about “the people who look like him” as he says. Ironically his mother is German which is why he looks like a basic white dude.
"You're the first Republican I've ever voted for.” These lifelong Democrats are sick of being gouged by their own party, and Becerra is too ARROGANT to offer anything but more of the same. You can join them in voting for change. JUST TRY IT.

People have asked why YES on G doesn't have commercials to counter NO on G's nonstop ads. The answer is simple: money. Joel Engardio pushed for the permanent closure of the Great Highway without a single town hall. Their campaigns backed by wealthy donors have the resources to spread their message across San Francisco. The rest of us have to figure it out ourselves. And we have. People collected almost 16,000 signatures through an 100% volunteer effort. Volunteers gave countless hours. Then came signs and literature. Every step costs money, but we keep finding a way. Lucas Lux, a Google lawyer, even sued the grassroots to keep Prop G off the November ballot. Although he lost, the grassroots still had to spend money defending against the lawsuit. Advertising can cost tens of thousands of dollars, and mailers are expensive, too. I'm a working mom, like many YES on G volunteers. We are the 99%, trying to stand up for ourselves and our communities. People warned me that campaigns need money and that holding the rich and powerful accountable would be impossible. I refuse to believe that. Each of us has one vote. Together, we can prove that ordinary people have a voice even without the money to buy an election. San Francisco can share. We can compromise. Weekday access for everyone including commuters and car-free weekends and holidays can coexist. That's a fair share. Don't give up. Vote YES on G. 🙏 What's a compromise? greathighwayforeveryone.com/ Need a window sign? docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F… Follow the money. campaign.sfethics.org/electi…
