Serious question: Does the GOP win last night if they accomplished this agenda?

Republicans promise smaller government, deliver more debt, war, and surveillance, then hand it to Democrats and scream about tyranny. Next election, they’ll promise to save you from the machine they just helped build. How many reruns before you stop buying tickets?

How many times does “you have to vote Republican to stop Democrats” have to fail before we’re allowed to ask Republicans to earn our votes?

It took a candidate as uniquely unqualified and horrible as Paxton to get a monster like Talarico elected in Texas.

This was quite literally a simple script to follow. Unless you’re a Republican.
To avoid a repeat of last night’s shellacking in the 2026 midterms, Republicans should: quit covering for pedophiles put America before Israel put farmers before corporations quit funding wars abroad reduce spending to control inflation quit attacking independent voices

The Republican congress did nothing. Achieved nothing. Took the mandate they were given and did precisely zero with it. Feckless losers who are relieved to no longer be in the majority. The only thing Republicans do with power is bide their time until they can relinquish it.

Two silver linings from last night: A repudiation of Trump’s war of choice for Israel and the Epstein-class coverup. Two years of gridlock sparing us “landmark legislation.” Washington’s inability to get things done might finally benefit the rest of us.

The only thing worse than the Republicans not understanding the repudiation that just occurred is that Democrats actually believe they won based on their policy positions.

Hey, MAGA. How'd that work out for you? All that money spent to oust @RepThomasMassie for occasionally voting against party could've been spent against actual Democrats. All because Massie wanted Trump to keep his campaign promises.
Dear Republican voters, Your party is going to be in trouble in the midterms. It’s looking like the GOP is going to lose a good number of seats. But, instead of putting all of their money and effort into trying to keep those seats, your party is dumping an unprecedented amount of money and effort into trying to remove @MassieforKY. They are more concerned about getting rid of a conservative who goes against the party occasionally than they are about losing seats to actual Democrats. Ask yourself why that is. Really think about it. There’s no way that, given their stated goals, Massie is more of a roadblock than a literal Democrat. If that’s the case, then what are their REAL goals?

Can’t wait for Democrats to spend two years screwing things up so Republicans can campaign on fixing it, win another majority, and spend two years explaining why they can’t. Please donate. This time is different.

Republicans should learn a lesson tonight. They won’t. Neither will the dems. Spending will continue to balloon. Wars will continue to happen. And both parties will blame each other.
