I'd argue they also need someone who's coached football before.
"If Baylor wants to get back to winning and have a university that isn't just respectable on the football field, but one the fans can be proud of, they need people who know what it looks like to win at Baylor." โ @RGIII says he's interested in the Baylor head coaching job. ๐ป๐

The Holy War will kick off at 5pm UK time
In a couple of weeks. Selfishly I'm grateful, but that is shit for the fans of BYU & Utah.
An early evening game would give you the atmosphere befitting what is always a bloodbath of a contest. And the dusk mountain backdrop? Oof... ๐

No surprise here; the TCU o-line has given up 20 sacks this year, just two less than the whole of 2025. Their 8.33% sack rate ranks 107th in the nation. And they're worst rushing team in the Big 12, averaging just 3.3 ypc.
Gordon Sammis is officially looking over his shoulder.
TCU has fired co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach A.J. Ricker, a source tells @On3.

Aranda left on the tarmac after the defeat in Lawrence. I get it; 40-40 over his nearly 7 seasons didn't really tell the tale of his ups and downs. The 2021 conference title and Sugar Bowl win feels like 2 decades ago, and fans really wanted him gone.
Still. 4-3. A bit harsh.

I truly believe KU can win all these games. The problem is all three of those can beat KU too. The beauty of the Big 12...
Three very winnable games coming up for #KUfball to get to 6 wins...
TCU: 3-4 overall (1-3 in Big 12)
UCF: 3-3 overall (1-2 in Big 12)
WVU: 5-3 overall (2-3 in Big 12)

We're deep into Week 8 of the College Football season & I'm yet to see what marquee win Indiana has that has them ranked #6 in the nation.
I love the Hoosiers, but if you play that cupcake non-conf schedule you better beat Ohio State. Sneaking by Michigan in OT is underwhelming.
