“We will all not vote unless the Democrat takes a position 80 percent of the country disagrees with” is exactly why I’m predicting a Vance or Rubio victory in 2028. The entire primary is going to become one massive grievance fest between the conflicting factions of the party and unlike the midterms where the party is made up of dozens of dynamic candidates who only have to navigate these issues in their own states and district, all of the outrage and disappointment and victim mentality will be laid upon whoever the 2028 Democratic nominee is until he or she is broadly unpopular enough for Vance or Rubio to sneak through

Quick question: Who started the war in Iran?
13

The ad is not about the war in Iran.
Explain how the War in Iran is not increasing the cost of living and how throwing money into foreign aid for Isreal is more useful than those dollars being spent here in the United States.

The way she Alexis Carrington Colby'd his ass lol
Jennings: Obama will be remembered for ruining healthcare. Coles: And Trump’s presidency is going to be remembered for a slice of The Cheesecake Factory's prime cheesecake, half the size it was, costing $13 a slice. Moynihan: Because everyone is on Ozempic right? Coles: No, darling, I think it's because prices are high everywhere because of inflation

No. Whatever we spend on Israel has nothing to do with why the cost of living is worse.
Why would you condemn an ad telling the truth? Are we not spending dollars on Israel's Genocide and Israel's agitated war against Iran that have made the cost of living worse?

Wait until someone tells him Chagall was a Zionist.
New Yorkers experience the abundant contributions of our Eastern European neighbors every day. As we pair syrniki with sour cream in Brighton Beach, look in wonder at a Chagall painting at MoMA and banter with babushkas in Rego Park. Last week, we celebrated Eastern European heritage at Gracie Mansion, because the story of New York City cannot be told without the story of our Eastern European neighbors. From new immigrants to those who've lived here for generations, Eastern Europeans have built New York City. We owe them a city they can afford to call home.

You mean like FDR did?
“The Matthew Yglesias of 1963 would have been telling them, don’t touch this civil rights bill. It’s unpopular.” @mehdirhasan challenges Matthew Yglesias over his belief that politicians shouldn’t go against the polls

Can’t imagine why El Sayed is having troubling winning lol
Human thumb that got fired for being racist thinks 1,000 isn't a big crowd in ALPENA, MICHIGAN.

That’s not a very big turnout lol
Wow. What a turnout. In a town of 10,000, in a county Trump won by almost 30 points, nearly 1,000 came out in support of Abdul El-Sayed. Alpena, MI, thanks very much.

The drop in turnout in Manhattan and Brooklyn vs. the mayoral is interesting.

Reclaiming my time....
Eisenkot's closing ad with English captions ... I'm manifesting Israel electing their first person of color (Moroccan, Mizrahi) leader tomorrow. maybe he can lean on Arab parties' support to form a minority government without the ultra-orthodox parties so that they can force the ultra-orthodox to pay their taxes and serve in the military

You know, campaigns just put signs around randomly, right? Like, I see them too, but very few are actually on people's property.
Grew up in Canarsie NY, & spent time there today. Signs don’t predict elections, but seeing Bruce Blakeman signs in a heavily Black, Democratic area surprised me. Never saw Republican signs here growing up & definitely didn't expect to see them today. Interesting shift.👀

It's giving "Sansa Stark telling her uncle to sit down in the Dragonpit" vibes lol
Annie Andrews on Trump's recent comments regarding her: "If calling me names will lower our gas prices and our grocery prices and keep our rural hospitals open, he can call me all the names that he wants. But that's not going to get the job done. And comments about taking my medical license away from the man who doesn't know how to pronounce 'acetaminophen.' I'm not going to take that seriously."

We have known for decades that, as a member of a disliked minority, you basically have to be flawless. An insufferable douchebag who is also a white dude wins by 7. An insufferable douchebag who is a Muslim wins by 4. An Insufferable douchebag who is a Muslim and has a history of rationalizing terrorism in a state where there is a fraught relationship between Muslims and other groups is where we are.
If Rogers wins the MISEN in 9 days, the pundits and the DSA-lefties will point to Islamophobia, and Rogers HAS run an Islamophobic campaign. But AES is unpopular with a wide swath of voters because he's an immature, dislikable jerk. @murphymike has hit on this, and he likes AES!

Which is why I cannot fathom why leftists are so insistent on antagonizing Jewish voters. They are some of your closest allies
Jewish Americans are some of the best of us. In a race where Abdul’s religion is brought up constantly to demonize him, Jewish Michiganders are 3x less likely to find him being Muslim a negative quality.

Nearly 250,000 votes were cast in NYC over three days. For reference, total 2022 turnout (last midterm) was 1.8 million Six more days of early voting, then election day when most votes are cast.

El-Sayed campaign statement: "This ad is not affiliated in any way with the Abdul for Senate campaign. Abdul is focused on pushing back against Trump’s agenda that is raising prices for Michiganders. No one speaks for Abdul but himself and his campaign." #MISEN
