I'm told Canada has officially set its final roster of 12 for the FIBA World Cup.
Per sources: Thomas Scrubb and Kenny Cherry were the final two cuts.
Which means Zach Edey, 21, has made the national team roster. You have to believe Canada will need his size at some point.

Congrats to 2023 6'11 David Simon on being named the 2023 Canadian National Player of the Year!
Long, athletic, skilled big with touch whose best basketball is ahead of him. Shades of a young Chris Boucher. Recruitment wide open

Despite the Canadian lineage of the Naismith Award, never had a winner hailed from north of the border.
Zach Edey changed that this afternoon.
