Some things I deliberately did to put my life on the right path. 1. Immediately after graduation, I didn't make marriage my next target. While doing NYSC, I already knew the kind of life I wanted, so I planned towards it. I proceeded to do my Master's degree immediately after service. I didn't just return home to wait for life to happen. 2. I prioritised my growth over romantic relationships, especially sexual relationships. I knew where I was going, and I wasn't ready to let temporary pleasure distract me. 3. I invested in my career and business. I wanted to build a life where financial limitations wouldn't constantly determine my choices. I wanted to have something of my own. I didn't want to enter marriage with nothing but love and expectations. You can see she is already calling the man she married poor forgetting she too is as poor as the man....
A lady narrates how her mum came to do omugwo, but she couldn’t give her anything as she returned home. She also regrets marrying for love and settling for a poor man.

I remember when I followed my mom to the hospital and the nurse congratulated one man that his wife gave birth, few hours later I was going out to buy water and I saw him ranting on phone that his wife gave birth to Ashawo and they are congratulating him.

Quick question: Is a married woman truly a deity, such that if an unmarried man has sex with her, his life will be ruined? Or is it just a lie men created as a deterrent to stop other men from sleeping with their wives? Because in all the traditions I have seen and heard, when a married woman cheats, it is her husband or children who bear the consequences of her actions. Even the Bible talks about the danger of sleeping with a married woman, but the danger it describes is the fury of the husband, not anything spiritual. And come to think of it: Men are superior to women, right? Yes. So if a married woman is a deity, then a married man should certainly be a god. So why are you telling me that a young man who sleeps with a married woman would be ruined, but a young woman who sleeps with a married man is blessed? Above all, love God.

One thing I've learnt about life is that you shouldn't automatically follow every advice you receive. Some people speak with so much confidence about things they have never successfully handled themselves. Listen, learn, but always consider the kind of life their decisions have produced before making their advice your own.

A woman was offered a cleaning job that pays ₦15k, twice a week, but she turned it down, saying she knows her worth. According to her, cleaning for that amount is too small and beneath her. Here’s the twist: She has no formal education, isn’t currently qualified for other jobs, has three children, and her husband works as a driver. She would rather stay at home than take the cleaning job. Now, I’m genuinely curious: Does being uneducated mean you should accept whatever honest job comes your way, or do you still have the right to reject jobs you consider beneath you, even when your family could use the extra income? Let’s hear your honest opinions. No insults, please.

Time is of the essence...
Dear ladies, before your husband married you, chances are he already had a sibling he was extremely close to. That sibling may have been his confidant for years. They share memories and a bond that existed long before you came into the picture. Please, don't create unnecessary rivalry with that person. You cannot expect your husband to abandon a relationship that has been part of his life for decades simply because he is now married. Make an effort to love and accommodate that sibling. Stop seeing every interaction as competition. You are his wife, and that is a special position of its own. Of course, this doesn't mean tolerating disrespect or interference in your marriage. Be patient. Give the relationship time to grow. You don't have to push someone out of your husband's life to secure your place in it.

There is no universal standard for being "good in bed." A lot of what people now call sexual prowess comes from excessive sexual exposure, unrealistic expectations and comparing one person's experience with another. A virgin understands that sex is a natural act and not a performance competition. The act of lovemaking begins with foreplay: kissing, touching, cuddling and showing affection. This helps both partners become aroused and prepares them for intercourse. Then comes penetration, sexual activity and mutual pleasure leading to climax. It really doesn't have to be an acrobatic performance. It's lovemaking, not a competition. The good thing is a virgin doesn't have any experience to compare their partner with
As a virgin how will you know that a man is good in bed?
