In the EU, transaction fees have hard caps of under 1%. In Canada, we commonly pay between 2.5-3%. In their ultimate wisdom, @FCACan now allows merchants like @Rogers to double-dip so they don't pay those fees and Canadians pay DOUBLE! 🤬

🚨 #BREAKING: Last year, students at just three Academy of Learning campuses received more than $219 million in OSAP grants.
Now we know the career college owners at the centre of this scandal donated to @OntarioPCParty, hired former Premier's Office staff as their lobbyists, and had PC ministers and MPPs at ribbon-cuttings for the worst-offending campuses.
Doug Ford's government was inspecting these campuses with one hand and cutting ribbons with the other.
We've been asking how this was allowed to go on for so long.
Is this why the government looked the other way?

Great to visit Parry Sound Public School this week.
From early learning kindergarten to middle school students, it was wonderful to see everyone settling into their new classrooms and routines.
