Prayers for CJ. 🙏🏻
Hang in there brother we're all pulling for you.
Happy Friday, friends. I don’t know how CJ kept up with this page. I can barely keep up ❤️ the comments. Although we haven’t replied to your words, please know that I’ve read every single one of them, out loud to CJ, and he is blessed. The pictures attached are his BP readings and view from his window. I’ve taken a photo each day to show him the beautiful palm trees, and on the first day he commented instead on the parking lot: “You know you’re in a good hospital when there are that many CyberTrucks in the parking lot.” 😆 No Teslas today, but it’s still a great view.
In the Bible, Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 states: "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up." It is typically applied to marriage, but it has broader application to this community. When CJ fell and broke his spine in 2020, the crack was so loud that the neighbor across the street heard it from inside his house. CJ coded before EMS arrived and again in the hospital. Yet, he’s still here. You - every single one of you who has prayed, commented, or shared - are the one helping him up after his fall.
Can I tell you how moved we are that people all over the world who have never met us are concerned for our well-being, genuinely express support and encouragement, and hold us in your thoughts and prayers? I had no idea that such a community was possible. I do know my husband, though, and I know he would do the same for every one of you. How we would love to meet and thank you all in person.
CJ made it through the night and has better vitals today, but no diagnosis. He has spent the day rather panicky, afraid that a bed will not open up for him and he will not be able to transfer to Miami. He still has severe headaches, no appetite, and widely fluctuating body temperature. If you are interested, these are his current prayer requests:
1. A bed to open in the Neuro ICU at Miami within a couple of hours and transfer to occur today.
2. Peace for CJ as he is now panicking that a bed might not become available.
3. Resolution of his severe and relentless hypotension and all of its side effects.
4. Wisdom and insight for the physicians to know where to look, which tests to run, and how to interpret them.
5. A correct diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan.
6. Rest for CJ and Bynthia as we now both have migraines.
Much love,
CJ and Bynthia
