Canada is betting big on Canadian tech! The federal government just announced a $1.6B investment in Canadian AI company Cohere, which is targeting a massive $7B funding round. Cohere now has backing from the Canadian government and NVIDIA! As part of the agreement, Cohere will: -Keep its headquarters in Canada -Create at least 1,000 new high-paying Canadian jobs -Deploy nearly $2B in computing infrastructure here at home. Canada wants to be a bigger player in the global AI race but is this the right investment?

S&P 500 is down 1.82% today, but just zoom out. It’s still up 10.73% YTD Same goes for most stocks this week. Don’t get caught up in a few red days. Zoom out, stay focused, and remember why you bought in the first place. Sometimes all you need is a little perspective!

🇨🇦🇪🇺 Canada and the European Union signed a new joint agreement today to build a stronger alliance! The deal focuses on expanding trade, energy, critical minerals, AI, technology and defence. Canada is working to open new doors and strengthen its global partnerships. Is this good or bad for Canada?

So I wheeled my $SMCI shares! 🔄 Here’s the breakdown: • Cost basis: $37.19 • Covered call strike: $37.50 • Expiration: 11/14 • Put premium collected: $81 • Call premium collected: $88 If my shares get called away, I keep the $169 in premiums, minus the $50 difference from selling at $37.50, leaving me with $119 profit. If they don’t get called away, I keep the full $169 in premiums, lowering my cost basis to $36.31, and continue selling covered calls. Let’s see how this wheel strategy plays out for me!

In a sea of red today, I found my shining star! $FTS.TO is up almost 1% and doing what it does best… holding everything together when the market is falling apart! Sometimes boring stocks are the heroes of your portfolio. 😂 What’s your shining star stock today?

Well, I’m the proud new owner of 100 shares of $SMCI! 😂 Market opened and I got early assigned. My cost basis is $38.19 per share. Time to start selling covered calls against my shares!
