This is big. The benchmarking game of agents, skills, models, and combinations of all of them has been a fun topic to follow. Not so many companies share real-life figures, though. Kudos to Netflix! They did a great job experimenting and measuring the effect of the code intelligence tools on the agents. I wish we could see more studies like this from other big companies, too. From the article: "Typically 20–30% more efficient (fewer tokens, less time), and up to about 65% in the best case" So yeah, it's useful to teach the new dogs (agents) old tricks (IDE tooling) for better efficiency. blog.jetbrains.com/ai/2026/1…

JetBrains Air is now available in WebStorm 2026.3 EAP 5, bringing agentic development closer to the IDE, with your choice of coding agents, support for parallel workflows, and IDE-native review and verification. ⌘2 on macOS / Alt+2 on Windows and Linux will open the Agent Session tool window instead of Bookmarks. Ctrl+Ctrl on any platform will open a quick input window instead of Run Anything. Learn more: blog.jetbrains.com/ai/2026/1…
We've reimagined JetBrains IDEs to become the ultimate agentic workbench. Air is an open hub for agents inside your IDE: -Any agents to run (Claude, Codex & many more) -Agents are more efficient with IDE intelligence -Free Junie Lite agent bundled -Cloud runs via Air Teams ⬇️

How do you evolve a language used by millions of developers without breaking the web? That's TC39's job – the committee that designs and evolves JavaScript. We sat down with TC39 committee members during their 114th meeting, hosted at JetBrains' office in Amsterdam, to talk proposals, breaking changes, and what it takes to write a spec that has to work everywhere. This is just a teaser – full interviews coming soon. Watch: piped.video/watch?v=uao0Yu31…

There aren't many changes on the WebStorm TypeScript support API side and none, which causes known API incompatibility. The change is mainly transparent for the plugin writers using our TypeScript support.

You can actually try TS GO 7.0 with an Angular project already in 2026.2. There are some known critical issues in the support, like problems on Windows and we are working on getting the support ready for 2026.2.1

WebStorm 2026.2 is out! Large TypeScript codebase? This release has your back. TS 7 ships out of the box, no migration needed. We tested it on Kibana, and project load time went from ~12s to ~3s. What’s more, GitHub Copilot is now natively integrated (no plugin setup required), and the new agent skills manager lets your AI agents carry knowledge of your stack across every project and session. Check out the new version to discover all the updates: jb.gg/vz7c4w

Really proud of my teammates @PiotrekTomiak, @vorobev31415, @k_ulitin whose contributions landed in the @TypeScript 7 codebase. Since @WebStormIDE integrates tightly (beyond LSP) with TypeScript , their work helped make day-one TS 7 support possible❤️
TypeScript 7 is out🚀 Huge congrats to the @typescript team, it’s a big step for the ecosystem! We’re extra grateful for the collaboration around the API fixes: having support from day zero made a big difference for us. Thanks for getting those fixes landed for the release 🙌 WebStorm 2026.2 RC is ready: built in, no config. Try it right now and share your feedback: jb.gg/webstorm-2026.2

Yeah, they'll stop, but not because they understand the danger, but because they fear you. They'll bully other kids to compensate they own fears. And then, there'll come a time they won't fear you anymore and they might get into drinking or doping; just because they'll feel freedom for the first time in they're life. Oh, and they'll hate you for all these things you did. Spanking is the worst method to rise your kids possible. It would be better if you do nothing.

Would you be interested if JetBrains releases a totally local AI agent, working 100% on your laptop, using our code insight engine and deeply integrated into the IDE? Yes, it will be probably 1 month behind the very recent frontier models, but no token blood bath anymore WDYT?

Debugging AI-generated code is just an interactive form of self-discovery where the thing you discover is that you should have written it yourself or at least tried to understand it in the first place.

RFK Jr: "A Democratic senator claimed it's mathematically impossible to have a drug drop by 600%. I said, 'Well, if the drug was $100 and it raises to $600, that would be a 600% rise. If it drops from $600 to $100, that's a 600% savings.'" Trump: "Right"
Community note
RFK Jr.'s example misstates percentage changes. From $100 to $600 is a 500% increase ((600-100)/100 × 100). From $600 to $100 is an 83.3% decrease ((100-600)/600 × 100). A 600% decrease from $600 would reach a negative price. newsweek.com/rfk-jr-trump-d… cnn.com/2025/09/23/pol… calculatorsoup.com/calculators/al

Zamknięcie toru w Poznaniu to jeden z największych skandali infrastrukturalnych w Polsce. Panie ministrze @KubaRutnicki - prośba o pilną interwencję w tej sprawie. W imieniu wszystkich kierowców. Obiekt wybudowany prawie 50 lat temu. Jedyny w naszym kraju z homologacją FIA (!). To osiedla powstały obok toru. Mieszkańcy kupowali mieszkania, doskonale wiedząc, gdzie się wprowadzają. Tor pełni funkcję bezpieczeństwa publicznego. Szkolili się tam kierowcy, firmy, służby, instruktorzy jazdy. Zamknięcie go oznacza przeniesienie „emocji” na drogi publiczne. Tor w Poznaniu to coś więcej. Obwodnice i linie kolejowe - do zamknięcia. To decyzja krótkowzroczna i szkodliwa.
