When someone from Odisha makes it to the National Academy of Engineering, it feels bigger than one person’s win. Debendra Das Sharma grew up in Odisha. He spent decades building the pipes that let servers, chips, and data centers actually talk to each other PCIe, CXL, UCIe, the stuff most of us never see but everything runs on. He also holds 500+ patents which is incredibly valuable. Peers only elect you to the Academy when the work has genuinely moved the field. That doesn’t happen often to many worldwide. He will be the keynote speaker at the Odisha AI Conference on 10 October 2026 If you are an Odia techie, student, engineer, founder, anyone grinding on hard problems this is worth showing up for. You will hear from someone who left home, went deep, and still carries the place with him. The gap between a classroom here and that level of recognition isn’t as wide as it sometimes feels. Come listen, ask questions, and take what you can. Proud moment for all of us. Don’t miss it. Image credit- @odias_in_ai and @ak_panda bhai

Yesterday I was giving a multinational product company interview here in Europe headquarter of Sweden. Have cleared 3 rounds and it was 4th round with product head and VP together. Last 3 round was one HR, next one tech team discussion and 3rd was slight system design and bit more architectural . However 4th one yesterday I was thinking just a basic management level discussion It went 1.5 hours of solid engineering and wider tech space probably in my entire 12+ years industry experience never given such kind of panel interview. Not even a single question on theoretical aspect, not a single question what is this , what is that ? Pure brilliance of intellectual engineering concepts of core manufacturing and product development with distributed ecosystem. How and why was the question ? Root cause analysis and 360 degrees from AI , security, architectural, design, cost optimization, load balancing, disaster recovery, infrastructure many more. Tech world is changing and changing drastically, never thought VPs and product heads are so deep these days on technologies and its implementation. The best part of yesterday interview was every concept they asked me after my answer they explained more insights adding few suggestions and guided me what should be the ideal solution. I may select or reject that doesn’t matter but the learning of 1.5 hours yesterday was probably absolutely amazing for me. Technology and jobs are changing folks , you have to do multitask and be flexible for adopting your niche skills. Nobody will hire average from here after that’s the naked reality, never stop giving interviews even though you have a safe job now. Learn from experts and others even short 1/2 hours discussion will show you a direction which no AI , google search or LLM can give. Talk with the real builders , talk with industry leaders and keep updating your ideas to implementation. That’s the only way we can survive.

The hard part of building a semi-humanoid is not building one. It is finding the first useful job for it. A prototype is a question. A pilot is an answer. RoboFynd is built to help that question reach the people who can answer it: buyers, operators, integrators, suppliers and funders. Share what you are building. Let the right opportunity find it. robofynd.com

Got my first interview call from Europe , was applying since last 2 weeks via LinkedIn absolutely zero end result. Yesterday i started searching my targeted MFT/INFRA related roles via @perplexity_ai , its giving me valid and solid official links. In between 48 hours grabbed 2 email communication and one fixed interview slot. World is changing folks , traditional job search tricks will not work any more , plan with AI , co-ordinate with human verification and grab output. Targeted keyword, solid human written roles and responsibility in your resume, active links from official company pages , AI filter like Perplexity. Adopt, learn and thrive , that should be the motto for every individual.

When a 18 year kid from Odisha requested me via social media to have a conversation about his Proof of concept , i was thinking may be he will take some input and continue his Journey. However this kid Shubham Das seems unstoppable , each weekend last few weeks he is constantly sharing with me his progress, taking inputs about code review, seriously implementing each and every of my insights. Kudos to you, Shubham. In just a few days as a young student, you have built a working prototype of Project Deula. This proves that Odisha’s next generation holds immense potential and commitment, they just need some direction and solid vision guide. It is an excellent representation about Odisha's rich heritage. As you continue improving the remaining technical aspects, please ensure that it stays compliant with our ancient heritage, that all facts are accurate and that every representation is supported by valid evidence. Keep shining, and thank you for having the courage to share your proof of concept with the world. Even though i don't like Sir naming convention, however Odisha deserver more such Bravehearts. Hope these kids will implement not only working prototype but also full phased clear solutions with highly engaged output. Let's rise Odisha and India all together. Video Credit- Shubham Das

An 8-year-old turned an $8 microcontroller into a fully offline, voice-controlled AI storyteller. No Wi-Fi. No cloud. No API. Using an ESP32-S3, INMP 441 mic, i2s speaker and Max 98357A amplifier, Laksh built a bot that generates stories, creates animations, reads them aloud and responds to voice commands: play, pause, resume and next story. He built it by forking the brilliant open-source TinyStories LLM for ESP32 created by @slvDev. It had text. Laksh added voice, interaction, controls and animation. Git repo: github.com/slvDev/esp32-ai Current drawback: bad English TTS on the ESP32. So that is what we are building next.
